If u stack those partners, full speed atk and t1, the combo from byakuya is quite useless. The burn dot from the others is good to kill the enemy vanguard too

Not in long fights. If u one shot the entire team in the first round then there its useless

Yama is as fast as Hakuteiken with his mods (1 & 4)
And from his evo & mods he's got the best damage ...

you know yamas 4th mod doesn't affect his speed at all his 4th mod gives speed to manic blade which is your vanguard

Not what i said.  Let me be more clear...
First off, unless your buying them with $$$ you can't get his coupons in HM till what? level 100?
so, Shin Ulquorria at best by level 102 or 103 (assuming you saved up HM coins from day one and hit all the daily events) and level 115 for Res Ulquorria
f2p can get Yama by level 90 without much trouble, and by level 100 fairly easily

Shin Ulquorria vs Yama is a joke of a comparison, yama crushes him in every way shape and form.
Res Ulquorria however is much closer to Yama...  In fact I can't say for sure which is better, however with them being so close to each other, the fact that you can easily get yama 15+ levels sooner, with much less planning and grinding IMO makes yama the easy choice between them. and once you get Yama on your team, Ulquorria is redundant as burn overwrites burn, and being you have already had 15+ levels to build up yama, that's another mark in yama's favor.  IMO. Res is for sure a beast, but now that yama is free, Ulquorria's only use is as bond for Noza's block, UNLESS you already have him up and built, in which case he's for sure worth keeping.
so, no, res isn't garbage, and yama isn't hands down better than him.  yama wins because he's easier to get and obtainable much sooner ingame.
