You upgrade Lvl's 100-to 140 gears (only $$ gears not the ones from slot machines or forge ones for ex like cyclone the 100 gear that you got free)

you need lvl 100-140 ultimate gear to upgrade it, forged and slotmachine gear will not work.

Do you have an advantage in anyway if you have higher level gear when upgrading?  I just bought 4 level 120 sets and was planning on getting a 140 set.
