I agree, events are not bad but kinda stupid to put them directly after ultimate charge/gold wheel and kons gift. Well atleast i can relax now and farm vit without worrying that im short on time.

About 12k gold in Lucky Turntable http://bleach-online-user.wikia.com/wiki/Lucky_Turntable (for Hiki)
Koga is probably 20k in most events, don't remember seeing him for cheaper.
