Honestly i won't be topping up anymore, i'm from Eu S35, after i found out about the prices in CN i realised that Eu and Us servers are just being screwed over.
until they reduce the prices to be equal on both sides they shouldn't expect anything from me, but back to the topic of this post, if they make a free to play server it will only mean that other servers will have like no players because then they can all play on 1 server with the same battle power and be more of a game of who farms better. instead of being a P2W game

Well, I understand that but they don't run CN servers, so they don't set it's prices. They are both licensed off whoever created the engine/game itself. I don't know what CN company.

Doubt they will change the prices, we have higher living standarts than in China and higher average wagers (x4 times higher in US and some of Europe) , thus the reason our prices are steeped up and we do not have as many players as China does, so they want to get more profit out of less population, maximize the profit.

Its business really, yeah it sucks that some prices are just too crazy , like 400$ for an Event partner, but there is little you can do about it.
And i do totally agree, that if prices were accessible, this game would have had much more success, the company would have had much better standings with its community and more people would top up and play it if we had prices - like 20-30$ for an Event Partner, instead of 400$, then they would see like almost everyone running around with those partners, and not just 1-2 people on a server (if any on some servers, for example on EU1 we have not one single Hyorinmaru but if Hyorinmaru was like 30$, i would have gotten him myself for sure, and a dozen of other players too, but instead there is not even 1 and they made zero profit off him on our server).

How could have they managed to do it? Well one eays solution would have been, to make the 500 gold packs give 5000 crystal fragments intead of 500, then 3-4 packs would get your the zanpakutou, and they would have had so many people spending gold on it.

The basic math and success to business is - 500 happy costumers = good business and not 10 not very happy costumers and 490 angry ones.

And you also have to take the demographics into account, US and EU are very different. Us has a high average wager across most of the US states, but in Europe, very few select contries have the same living standarts as US does, so in fact, 70-80% of the EU population cannot aford these prices.

EDIT: Sorry, this turned out into more of a rant than a simple "Well prices are higher, what can you do about it" lol

It's a game about a popular shonen anime, of course its pay to win. I really don't know what you were expecting since all these guys want it money and they are getting it.

As long as people are willing to pay $200+ for 1 single character why lower?
Eventually these prices will backfire on them so they must lower them, don't expect that any time soon though.
By then they have already cashed in so they can do whatever with the prices.

if you know about paypal's policies on intangible items.. you wont care about how much you pay.. you can get every red cent back..

are you joking. do you even have a job? what you are saying is that you should go to work for free!
the developers need to make a living like all of us, and as everythingswrong says lots of people topping up that's why its still running and supported!
