I don't know how many vitality you have But if you have 6k or more you should be able to gather remaining crystals during those 10 days of UBP( assuming that you are at least vip4 or that you can use that vitality pretty fast)

What about if I don't use a vanguard, is muramasa better for pvp/pve overall over zabimaru?

It's like 10-11k vit so ain't happening. But if you haven't gotten the coupons for the sign in thing (I forget the actual number) wait for that and get sode no shirayuki she's helped me immensely

zabimaru is worse then kaze. i suggest getting your formation up to snuff(if it isn't already) before you think about zanpaktooh and 7k vit will get you how much you need for muramasa without fail.
