Not even close dude, first upgrade is about 3-5k golden reishi <3
2nd should be about another 7-10k

not what they are saying in other threads...   150 GR roughly for 1 RR, 200 RR for first upgrade...  sounds like 30,000 GR for first upgrade to me...   then again, I've not even looked at the cost for myself so I'm using numbers from other thread
but with numbers like those...  it can't upgrade tavern near as much as people were saying, otherwise...   RIP gogames and all the money they used to make

Statwise, H Ichigo is better.
Skillwise, they are equal as each has a different purpose, Hollowed is all about being tanky and Starrk is all about dmg.
In your case, I would still recommend to stick to H Ichigo though

150 GR is between 3 and 10 red reishi, try it out yourself^^ (not sure about the 3-10, as it is not stated anywhere officially ( seems true in my case so far though))
(Spoiler-alert, it gives you a random amount between 3 and 10 red reishi ^^)

U know that you get between 5 to 14 red reishi for 150 gold reishi .. thats more like 5-7k gold  ...

i didn't know...  I'm an event partner user, so I'm not even really concerned with it till I can upgrade my event partners with it, lol    All i know about it is what they are saying on other threads, lol  but thanks for that info

no, id say about 15k gold reishi with really crap luck to get 700 red reishi, just got 265 red reishi from 3800 gold reishi, the red reishi chest ranges from 4 to 10 reishi per chest, so dependin on ur luck it can cost you less or more

I would.....  but no...   I'm saving my GR for Res Ulquorria ATM, and until I know for a fact that this has been opened for event partners, I'll take your word for it, lol

Haha, I meant more like try buying 1 or 2 chests and opening them xD
Also, it only works on tavern partners atm
