It depend on the event..
Some event sell the char directly, some maybe give you a certain point (eg. 100/8000, you need to fill 7900 with gold) and vitality event...

Not if you play some of the other games were the event characters are way more than that, at least twice that amount and that's if you are lucky.

Do you happen to know off-hand how much Toshiro was in his event or anything about the event that may have released him? I'm curious because as far as event chars go he's the only one I'd want to get and would like to know how much to save up in advanced.
