equipement improvement?

hello!!
there is something I didn't understood about the equipement. I have Chad as vanguard and decided to change his equipement fromSoulBreak SwordLv 0 to Jibakurei SwordLv 35 BUT it seems like the jibakurei is weaker?! and what is the soulbreak set? (in the last picture for the soulbreak set of the soulbreak sword it says :stamina +200 strength +100 wisdom +100)

You got to take into account set bonuses, the differint stats and the stones. Then decide what best for you

You should take consider also on the number of pieces gears bonuses,stats. of your gears, stones equipped and fortified level.

Its coz of ur different refinements....and theres 2/4/6 set bonus attributes

thank you all for answering but I don't understand how you equip a set? those 2 pieces effect / 4 pieces effect from where did they come?! what are gears?

ok gonna try to explain this the best i can because my english sux i hope you can understand
gear = 1 piece of "equipment" (sword, belt, shoes, etc)
set = # of pieces of the same type of gear (basically with the same name [SoulBreak, Jibakurei, etc] and the same lv, and color) full set have 6 pieces, the 6 pieces of the set are weapon, armor, shoe, headband, clock and belt.

So are diferent gear sets, the stats depend most on the quality (color: orange>red>yellow>purple>blue>green) and lv, so its like high lv and better quality set, better stats,  and the pieces effect are bonus stats, you need to equip some number of the same  set gears to get that bonus, at 2, 4 and 6 pieces to get the bonus stats.
