And for PVE, B.Renji is winning this, easily in every way with crit chance mods, crit damage mods and much higher natural attack + skill attack %

Yama is actually made for PVP, so comparing him with just about any other gold PVE partner or above is quite the bad comparison since he's bound to be the worst in the PVE area lol. No contest here for B.Renji, best to finish all the stones too before getting the partners, get them out the way ^^

if you are like me (the mainstream on char stacker yama can and will be the best option as he will kill mostly all teammembers excep the stacked ones
(my yama)
70-80k short of his current bp (total bp is 2,5 mill)
with that attack and speed in adition to t1 i kills supp and assault line of pretty much everything not over 3mill bp (as long as they dont have one sss stacked sup for example

but even then the work you need to put in is quite alot and i believe you will have better resoults quicker with b.renji (add on that he is a million times better in pve and the choice is obvious tho yama is a good choice if you cant get any mid to high vip characters)

the only way Yama wins in PVP is if he's T1 and strong enough to clear the field, and fast enough to do it first...  your Yama doesn't fit any of these categories except maybe T1...  with B Renji, he is going to hit like a truck for sure, and make follow up rounds nicer for you...  also, his 4th mod (which I see you have) is his death mod, which is KILLER in PVP, and lets you stack your speed elsewhere...  long story short...  B Renji wins hands down, It's just too bad all that evo on that Yama

Forgot to mention

You have partners from CSB to replace Yamamoto and even your main can, as long as they're able to attack all at a high percentage, there's no point in wasting your soul cultivation in Yama

Obtaining B.Renji or sticking with him (so not wasting resources on Yama) will help in the long run as he can be used in PVP to take out specific targets ^^

The partners better than Yama is the debatable CSB Byakuya, White Ichigo and Muken Aizen. All assaulters and all free. Soul cultivation is also free yes but you can exchange for better than a partner there such as the stones, red fragments etc. ^^
