I think there should be a buyback so if you accidentally sell material that you have been stacking for ages so you could use it on one specific item you are screwed. You WILL lose all of your progress and there is no way to undo it, you try to stack sell stuff because it always stacks up so quickly that it to happen has high likelyhood. For example I was building t140 gear and I was 69 Spirit-Darkrune stones in, which costs 40 red or 80 blue points EACH, and I accidentally sold those stones so now I'm setback by whole months, it takes alone 90 stones to Spirit Forge lvl 140 armour and 120 stones to forge 140 weapons, so small misclick really ruins everything you have going and IT DOESNT EVEN WARN ABOUT IT. You can sell hogus and it warns, etc. but if you sell any material it just sells without questions asked even tho some of them ARE EVEN HARDER to attain.

So it really sucks when you get screwed for months of progress because the game punishes so strictly over EVERYTHING you do, you can't UNDO anything, you need gold to get high level armour or massive amount of activity in events, but not everyone can do that nor does everyone have strong enough teams to do that so why does the game punish those trying to improve their armour by doing Soul Hunt or just normal maps while those who can just get high ranks and tons of Challenge stones or use gold to buy armour get unscathed but not having wealth can be punished by months due to a MISCLICK.

Selling is a 2 stage process which is meant to prevent this sort of thing. I wouldn't expect anything beyond this to be done.

2 stage as in?
Because there is a 'sell' button with which you can mass sell stuff, if you add a hogu or something similar in the stack it ALWAYS asks if you are sure about selling it, otherwise it just automatically sells without asking questions, for example you cant 'blacklist' items or so that dont appear in sell page, and each time you do exclusive fragment stuff your inventory fills up with useless materials that you try to sell, so selling a stone to spirit forge armour with is easy mistake to make, and at that point its not 2 stage, its 1 stage process.

You clicking the item to go into the list is the 1st stage, clicking Sell All is the 2nd

Idk why anyone would sell items individually (which doesn't have a 2nd stage)

Well I don't count the sell screen as 1st stage, because its stable stage that doesnt disappear, to me clicking sell all after picking 20ish items is stage 1 and stage 2 is if there is a question if I'm sure about that as mentioned with hogus.

well... feel sorry for you, it happened to most of us
but we are supposed to pay a little bit attention to what we do : you have to click 3 times to sell stuff (Sell, Stuff, Sell All).

you can't "restart from last save", this kind of function doesn't apply in any MMO I know.

if you dismissed a partner (event or tavern), should it apply too? should you also get opportunity to get back the hundreds of thousands bikinis and skill scrolls sold since level 1?

Windows 95 and above:
[Del]
"You pressed delete, do you want to delete?" => [Yes]
"you clicked [Yes], did you mean "Yes"?" => [Yes]
"you confirmed you really wanted to delete, do you want to abort?" => [Yes... [No... damn... I don't remember what I was doing!!!

The thing is that you can't mass sell partners nor do you get tons of them, there is a limit and getting a partner is a decision that you make, you can't control what you get out of exclusive training and it all stacks up in materials in off-order, if there was a way to choose what you get and what not from exclusive or what its going to sell instantly there would be no problems, but it all stacks in your inventory next to materials you have intentionally been collecting, also there are many 'buyback' options such as buying it back for a bit more expensive price, just undoing, having stuff separated to start with so you don't make such mistakes, selling stuff elsewhere instead of just pretty much destroying it. Restart from last save would mean that you'd lose all progress you've made and that makes no sense, I'm talking about stuff that doesn't punish player gravely but gives them a chance to at least to some extend undo what they did. At the end of that trade you are going to lose some money to start with but its not undoing because you can't buy them from anyone to start with, they are something YOU collected, not something you BOUGHT from someone else.

In many games you can trade with other players materials, items and such, but in this game its all up to you, so when you make inevitable mistake you are going to get punished gravely when there isn't any way to undo that because your work gets resetted and its high likelyhood for you to do that mistake again.

And you saying 'sell, stuff, sell all' makes no sense because you click once 'sell' and then its just clicking stuff and clicking sell all BUT if you accidentally add hogu or such to the list it ASKS if you are sure about it, you cant choose what it wants to sell, you cant choose what the game wants to do, if you could blacklist like specific items or buyback for a slightly more expensive price it wouldnt make basic daily activities such risky business to start with. So your 'sell, stuff, sell all, agree to sell all' has 4 steps which is what would make it a lot easier with blacklisted items.

And to that windows part, if you put something in trash can you have to go there manually and delete them to get rid of them instead of them getting destroyed fully the moment you deposit them. At least in NEW windows.
