Katen is good for both PvE and PvP depends if you are able to bring the fullest out of it.

If I got he I can't make it that good. RJ would be better with CSB & HMA an VR. I can do 14% - 18% per hit to es an can solo ryoka to wave 21-25 basically just me on the sevet.

Katen can increase your damage in Ryoka and ES. CSB wouldnt be a problem with Katen if you set your team right. HMA is almost the same as CSB. Void is the only thing that's benefit from having Ryujin, but then again, only if you have the right partners.

so your saying Katen is better then RJ, how is Katen supposed to beat an RJ user?? from what i've read and seen from battle reports RJ will Beat Katen 99% of the time. uless some how katen is faster then the rj user if lucky enough to kill them b4 they can attack

I am a Katen user. Katen is more PvE than PvP because of destructive power. Ryujin has more cc. But that doesnt mean Katen is weak in PvP, you need to know how to use your team well. Katen and Ryujin has their advantage. But if I were to pick, I will still go for Katen anytime. Don't just believe what you read on forum, understand the game is more important. For me, I beat Ryujin users all the time, but I have to admit, they are pain in the butt.

So it'd be more beneficial for someone to get Katen right now than Ryujin in 8 months?(formation including hiki and nimaiya with mediocre assaulter line)
