So the real question is.. Is Renji better than Kenpachi and Ishida?

Decrease defense by 10% sounds interesting though.

Also is he an UBP character?

I really doubt that renji is better than ishida when he is like 110lvl partner.
Also I am kind of confused. Why these partners are ranked S+ and have hard fights in cultivating dojo when they have stats and stat grow on the level of lvl70 partners which are ranked A? Basically the only thing better about them are their skills which usually add something extra compared to tavern ones on the same lvl.

with renji i see his fury attack is 300% same as kenpachi however renji has a 7% damage rating in his base form also self recovers 25 pretty much hybrid of ikkaku and kenpachi only except renji decrease block 25% and defence !0%

however his stats is on pars with level 70 - 80 tavern i see what comes after renji

I gotta say, this Renji is amazing. I'm totally enjoying him. Effects are great and he hits like a truck. Him with Dark Rukia and Rukia means he can spam his ability almost always after things get going for the events.

I'm 85 and Rukia is max modded. Dark Rukia's is just a pain atm. Other assaulter is Ikkaku.

How much was Renji gold wise? I know he was only what... 24 tokens? Guessing around 5.7k if you use auto function? Give or take

If you only went to him that's about right. I went all the way to get Zangetsu. People may think it's silly but I really won't care what they think. It's a badass Zanpakuto.
