even if you ignore the 10,30,50 coupons needed for reset , then 1200/180=6.6x5=33 ie the max one can get in a day. and he got 70

can't you redeem upgraded version directly without upgrading the first version? if so then it would cost just 100

how can you be sure about that? the redeem option is enabled even in the upgraded menu option.
maybe its a sideoption to be able to upgrade if you have the first version and maybe we can directly get the upgraded version if we have the required materials. is it written anywhere regarding being able to get the upgraded partner directly?

Well.. based on my understanding.. from the word "Upgrade"
So.. it should require the first version..
The first version would be useless if we could directly recruit the upgraded version

no its not useless. first version needs lvl 55 and upgrade version needs 95, so those who hit 55 can recruit the first version, but those who are at their 90s can wait to get the tokens enough for the upgraded version.

albertdoris is lvl 76, he has to be lvl 95 to get upgraded version. hence some bug or some crap happening here.
