the more the game evolves the less utility Starrk has IMO...

he is for sure a very good vang, but with H Ichi there...  Starrk seems to lose a lot of steam...  then again, I'm a defensive player

Sometimes, having a defensive vg is better than the offensive ones, but h ichigo costs too much gold reishi. 3500 gold reishi = halfway of phase 2 for tavern partners...

Thinking the same, I'll be on about 10k when UBP comes around so I'm just hoping like mad for a go ...

I'll be close to 15k when UBP hits, so that should put me around 22k when SA comes back, figure I can hit top 3 and still get next UBP with that kind of Vit at that point

but the question is this...  your reiatsu is level 73, right?  how much gold reshi is that?  once you buy him, he's there and only gets better IMO...  this is a long game of small gains...  if you love your Starrk, put the love into him and he should treat you right...  personally, especially for F2Ps, the only way you will ever deal with Hikifune is either outspeed her (yeah right) or block kill her (MUCH easier)  she's  not your only problem, but is enough of one that she made the example all by herself, lol

my favorite thing about a defense heavy team...  most teams don't plan to deal with one huge chunk of defense, and instead most offensive teams are built to deal big damage vs all foes...  a heavily defensive vanguard has the advantage of being able to lower that damage to 5 without too much trouble...  at that point you have 20 rounds to grind them down...  build for the 20 round game, not the 2 round...  or that's the policy I built my Noza around and I'm neck and neck with first place in my server who spent at least $5k more than me (probably MUCH more) and has nearly 2M BP on me
