but that's exactly how this type of game works, most of things aren't supposed to be exclusive to vips forever, devs keep creating new partners and zans so it's obvious that some things become outdated with time and then they are given in ubp (or sometimes in other way like for example yama and cute orihime in soul cultivation), IMO it's pretty fair to give those outdated things, which almost no one buys, to f2p, low vip or even higher vips who stopped doing top-ups long ago , after all stuff that appears in ubp isn't top-tier so it's not like f2p will be able to compete with high vips, also keep in mind that f2p can't really make as good use of those things as vip could do, add to that fact that stacking vit takes time (+f2p won't be able to do ubp every month) so they also need to use some resources to get thing which isn't even that great anymore, on the other hand vip had to spend a lot of money,what is obviously more worth than that stacked vit but, to get thing which actually was top-tier at its time and which actually could help to compete with top dogs and since they have it longer it helped them more and they could develop it further than f2p who get it just now do(especially applies to partners in ubp but it's similar with zan).
Honestly, before spending in game you should learn enough about it to know that buying partners/zans for gold is only form of early access and that sooner or later they might appear for free. Tensa  was out for pretty long amount of time already so people who bought it long ago shouldn't complain cause it probably served them well and even if right now it will be common zan, they got benefits from getting it earlier, and people who bought it recently are on fault since tensa isn't worth anymore to buy and it was just matter of time to appear in ubp (lately I even had conversation whether tensa will appear in this ubp or in next zan ubp-so in 4 months-well, I was wrong cause I thought that it is bit too early for it but still its appearance in ubp shouldn't be surprise for anyone, just a matter of time).
Also I don't really get complaining about tensa in ubp, somehow nobody complained about b.renji appearing in ubp although he is a lot more useful than tensa and I don't see anyone complaining about muken being obtainable for everyone, f2p as well,even though he is actually better than yhwach who is for about 40-50k,shouldn't yhwach users complain as well that f2p can now get same shit as p2w?
Overall that game has many disadvantages but devs giving free stuff isn't one of them Since b.renji appeared in ubp, things there are getting a lot better then before and we should be happy about it Is it that hard to think rational and maybe even being happy about others' happiness?
Well, I actually wonder how forum will look like when hikifune will appear in ubp since it's probably the most common partner who wasn't in ubp yet

Minazuki: Garbage.   Tobiume is better.
RJ: Good for PVE and PVP, Shit for ES and Ryoka apart from the defense buff but then again who doesn't survive wave 70 by now?  >f2p plebs.
Katen: Good for PVE and PVP, absolutely USELESS for Void.
Tensa: Good for PVE and PVP, Great EVERYWHERE.

Timeline in this game is advancing, why was old UBP partners bad and new ones good?
Because now , these partners/zanpakutos are appropriate to obtain when comparing them to what is best now. And in this case, the release of Tensa indicated that Tensa is appropriate to be released to the masses, so all in all, you can see this as 'fair', but i can see where you're coming from, he's still a high pricepoint and good purchase as a Zanpakuto

But yeah it's not exactly "bullshit", his release in UBP does make sense when looking towards the future of the game and where it's leading into, and the state we're in now and what really is powerful and weak and what is not etc.

So unfortunately, it just has to be accepted that he's now available to the masses both F2P and VIPs as when looking towards the timeline for this game, it seems like it's fair for him to appear in UBP, as long as they have the vit necessary ^^



Edit: After reading quite the few comments on Tensa being outdated. No, he is not lol, but this post of mine is just indicating that we are moving forward as a whole, and that it's showing the future of the game isn't around the Balanced teams anymore which Tensa afilliates with, but instead much more specific formations that are helped with Ryujin, Katen, Minazuki etc. and ofc more future content. Yes that can be read as me calling him out as outdated, but he simply isn't as he's still one of the top tier Zanpakutos you can purchase for the overall teams that you build, he simply fits into every team out there as this balanced Zanpakuto.
Don't mix up what UBP releases indicate and what they actually are, this release isn't because he is outdated, it's just we are simply eligible to have him now in this current timeline.

Please tell me that B.Renji is outdated when he got released in UBP.
