And who the hell would waste exclusive points on byaku to make him a PVE partner? Ikakku is a much better choise F2P wise, vip wise there are so many other better partners. It would be a fucking stupid idea.

Versatility. Stacking byakuya gives you a great pvp partner, then a great pve partner, and a great partner for void. You wont need to swap him out every now and then. A great partner overall with his own strengths.
