There's no such thing as a level 10 stone that you don't need.  Lol

At least, not yet.
The top two stones we have in our server are 2x level 10 Crit Stones.
Owned by our #1, and #2
Less than a handful of level 9's =P

Regardless, you guys are right: chances are undoubtedly really unlikely, but it'll probably happen.


The best likely item for this event is probably the Hogu Enhance Talismans.
Upgraded my Kuchiki Hogu from level 6 -> 7     for 36 Talismans..


Shinji might be useful if one wants to diversify his/her PvP lineup.  Preventing stuns and hitting all may prove to be very useful later on in higher level fights.
However, owning Zabimaru Renji... he looks great, but... lacks anything truly amazing.

yeh ofc in this event you buy the char + some useless  or  +- usefull stuff, at reio you get the char + 1 ultimate set and 1 or 2 high lv stones, this event is made for 4 or 5 chars + 1 or 2 Zamp, 1 of that chars maybe Shinso Gin and Muramarsa or Sogyo as zamp, but well yeh this event is good to get some meh freebies

f2p:
You get a free spin every hour.  That's 24 spins a day.
It's 5 days long.  You could potentially get 120 spins, Lol.
10 lucky points per spin, so that's 1200 total points @ 100 per spin, so 12 additional Mysterious Raffles.  For Free.


Then we get people who are complaining that they're getting a 15gold spin, that could reward a $150 USD item as impossible.
Guys..  have you been to Vegas?  Lol.  The chances of winning the the top prize on the slots there is probably similarly as low as winning this level 10 spirit stone prize.


Although I do admit, the partners do suck.
But it's probably because we're asking for partners that we're truly not ready for.
No one on my server bought Shinso Gin, and I have three of the top 10 CSB's in my server.

Cross Server Battle 'ers

Zabimaru Renji is a good hero, but with Rei'o Guardian, we got to see Sexy Yoruichi.
And Sexy Yoruichi simply out classes Zabimaru for the same price...
I got Zabimaru Renji when it first came out.  Immediately regretted it after Sexy Yoruichi got released 3 days later...   


Getting 35k crystals is actually not that bad, because you get a number of stones along the way.
Rei'o Guardian was still much more worth it for the price of gold spent though.

You are right that Zangetsu will cost more than Zabimaru Renji or Shinji; more than both together actually.
However, Zangetsu is an end-game Zanpaktou.
Neither Zabimaru Renji nor Shinji Hirako is an 'end-game' partner

Strategy Brah'
Strategy.  Makes the game much more interesting.

Most of the event partners are still ridiculously strong due to their base stats.

Base stats over 1000:
Shinso Gin: All hit, Stun, +25 all fury, higher agility
Sexy Yoruichi: 305% growth, +25 all fury
Shinigami Yoruichi: 250% growth, random 2, invulnerability
Shinigami Urahara: 170% growth, support line, higher agility
Demon Ichigo: Broken
Isshin: Combo forever
White Ichigo (Zangetsu): atk all, 180% growth, -15% enemy atk, +25% assaulter atk

Good abilties:
Toshiro: -25% atk to VG and Assaulter
Dark Rukia: +12% allies atk, best with Sogyo no Kotowari
Obidient Orihime: Heal Over Time, +12% assaulter atk, +30 assaulter fury
Gorgeous Rangiku: weaker del torro aid buff, better nntoria
Genryusai Yamamoto: atk all, 25% dot burn, 3x unable to recover hp or fury


Only knocked out event partners are:
Zabimaru Renji: not bad, but there are better alternatives for cheaper, comparable to Tavern partners almost (ikkaku)
Shinji Hirako: meh
Christmas Ichigo: joke
Intellectual Nanao: I don't see her use just yet


So out of all the gold event partners..  Most of them are still really good.
