Kukaku or Gerard

How much more defense does Gerard have than Kukaku? (not including his 4th mod)

I know he just came out but someone gotta know if he's worth the change. I need a vanguard that got double the defense of Kukaku's full potential, might seem like a stretch but why not.

Thoughts would be appreciated.

gerald is better team player tho and death mod and immune to mutilate

newer isn't always better but in this case he may as well be :p

Immunity to mutilate is great though.

Gerard is God of liverpool

He is good than Kukaku in some device

Gerard skill is + Atk and Def so deal dmg to all enemy but not heal 20% of HP.while
Kukaku is only Ass and Sup "but" get Heal 20% Hp and get Damage Rate and Avoid Injury Rate

Kukaku keep 100% kido def to ally. but
Gurard is 40% Defense for allies

Kukaku when she HP lower then 50%, recover 20% of max HP. while
Gerard need to 10% or less to heal but heal 70% of max HP

Kukaku Every 25% HP lose, increase DEF by 20%. But
Gerard Every time being attacked, add 5% Defense for self and it's stack

when get full mod gerard
- have 20% Extra Block Rate
- Stun (a random enemy when being attacked)
- Dying skill
- Immune Mutilate
gerard have this but kukaku isn't

so when battle with Muken Aizen will be

If choose Kukaku only Kukaku will survive.
If she not then lose

If choose Gerard Gerard will counter some attack and random stun some enemy partner (likely stun main)
He will die but [hero never die] all ally will get heal and some buff when he dying
If team can't stand At all and only Gerard survive you "have chance" to lose

I only need the vanguard to survive, and I really do not care about block that much.

I wrote that I needed a vanguard that got double the defense of Kukaku's full potential, meaning he/she gotta have over 1.8m+ defense at max. And i'm not talking about when in battle :p

Here's something to work with.

Exclusive level 45

Physical defense - kido defense at level 28

Over a long fight Gerard would have higher def, not sure about pre-battle yet.  A few big things going from her is losing out on the -25% atk debuff when hit and his healing mod will be harder to trigger since he needs to drop below 10% without dying.

Break the game eh? Muken have already broken the game. And that 5% extra defense after he's hit won't matter when Muken increases his attack by 100% each round, over 5 turns.

Well the problem is he won't have enough defense to tank Muken which is the same with Kukaku she survives until Jakka's 150% defense buff goes away, then it's over. Muken is really way too powerful and it's quite wierd that he's a CSB partner considering everyone can get him :p
