ya i was thinking they will do hyorin UBP again so i used it all XD

there is a high proba hyorin gona show up again, we already got it in server twice in ubp if i'm right, it's a good zan, but not worth the amount asked in this event, if you willling to spend lot of gold here gor for the twin zan and take two partners with it, hyorin gonna show up in ubp, not that i'm a medium but the pattern showed he will, even zangetsu here is a crook

I disagree. While I would have liked to have paid less for Hyorinmaru, it is the best currently available zanpakuto in the game. Just look at the CN "Metagame" if you will. It is dominated by Hyorinmaru. This is with Zangetsu and Muramasa in the mix for a while now.

It is because Hyorinmaru gives you more then the other zanpakuto do, it is just disguised.

So, if you look at the overall character pool for each position, Assaulters have higher growth rates, while supporters are faster with lower growth rates. Both have effects attached to skills, but generally speaking those effects need to go off to matter. It is the old adage of How much damage does a dead or CC'd character do?

Hyorinmaru gives more then Zangetsu in this regard. While Zangetsu gives more speed ( 3% ), and +12% after buff, Zangetsu is not likely to give its buff before Hyorinmaru's supports get a chance to go. Additionally, with higher Agility growth rates on support, that 18% speed is worth more then the 33% speed that assaulters get ( because speed % is a multiplier after agility % ).

Muramasa out speeds Hyorinmaru so that does present some problem for Hyorinmaru, but a 3-1-1 Muramasa team will find it difficult to get through a Hyorinmaru tank, as Supports aren't that great at vanguard killing and since there growth rate is lower, the defense of a Hyorinmaru tank will take most of those blows for DAYS.  Muramasa however is technically better then Hyorinmaru, but again Muramasa is not even out yet. Additionally, this whole post is the reason why Muramasa is cheaper ( despite being better ) then Zangetsu in CN ( 40 vs 54 ). It is because Hyorinmaru fills a role quite near the role Muramasa fills. And honestly, Hyorinmaru makes for a funner game experience. Having a Vanguard be a actual part of the team is really awesome, not to mention his skill animation. Orgasms for days :-P.

In this particular event, if you were to buy 2 event characters, it would cost you around 12k gold. If you wanted those characters anyway, another 5k to get Hyorinmaru is nothing. Not to mention the fact that I ended up getting Hyorinmaru, 2 Characters, the other extra goodies, when all is said and done for like 13k gold after rebates. It is hard to beat that.

That is because the vast majority of VIP CN players do use Hyorinmaru. Even after Senbonzakura was released.

I can reference you some of the stronger players in all of CN if you would like?



I am going to go out on a limb and say that the price on Senbonzakura isn't why he is using Hyorinmaru.

The stats on this gin are not looking that amazing.

But to the topic, i think it will be possible to get Horinmaru much cheaper than this time.
If u need the crews it will make sense to buy it here maybe, but i am not that sure if its really needed to get 2 of this crews.
Still only lv 100 sets to get by this event, which is a bit stupid.
Maybe Horinmaru will outclass all other Zanpakutos later, but at the moment its not really that useful for the most player. Before u have ur supporters at maxstones, u can always makes them faster by some stones from the assaulters without loosing their speed, coz they become much faster by Zangetsu for example.

What is the agi growth rate at the currently highend supporter ? Sure that they can really outspeed a main with some high progress in the soulmap ? around 5.9 agi growth rate would be possible with the red map.
