I haven't picked up the acc yet either, and have gotten 3x sets of gear...   I'm not saying the gear isn't important, I'm just saying that the accessories can for sure be useful, especially if you are only level 120  XD

At any level, it is advised to be patient and always go for what will be a long term benefit.
