I would kinda have to agree about stacking only one partner for F2P being the best strategy. PvE wise, stacking 1 character is the worst thing you can do, as having tavern partners that work well together is the best PvE strategy. Such as Kisuke t1 your whole team, or having Rukia and Kisuke to t1. Then having an AS that fury gains every turn helps to skill every turn and such.
However, for PvP, stacking one partner is the best thing to do. Putting all your resources on one person can usually make them immune to most damage and to be the fastest, as well as making them pure T1. 5 partners with 500k BP will always lose to someone with 1mil BP or more. You would need a lot of CC and SSS partners, but for other F2P that is hard to do. I had a 800k Byakuya with no exclusives on hiim that could 1v5 a t1 Hiki, a t1 Yama, and a stacked H.Ichi. This is usually because they will have so much defense when stacked and attack to 1 shot the team |
