How important are spirit stones in this game?

stones are probably the only boost item that doesnt depreciate in value along with the new ultimate gear set since you can keep them and upgrade

Here is the difference with no STR stones, using all rank 11 STR stones and all rank 12.  Muken is an extreme example with his 50% atk mod, but you can see how much difference they make.

Spirit stones are the most important ones because they can boost your BP significantly, and they are the easiest to get.
