Dunno but I still have 4.5k gold on my vip0 so it depends on how smartly people used them

FYI, we have had bankai power twice now since they were given out...  the event is dead and over...  so spending the gold to inheret for mug, then again to inheret for muken would be a huge waste...  if the guy is gonna lay on muken, mug would be a mistake...  plus at best you would lose 40% (prob closer to 35% in real world math) of the stack on yama if you did 80% inheret twice

ya but i think it'll be back at some point, and saving yuor gold for inherit should still last a while.

plus there was no mention of muken or when they'd get muken, it was only for saving up vit for koga whenever they came back around (which is a complete chance) which is what im basing this all off of. im just saying atleast get mugs since 2-3 months is enough to get enough vit again for another ubp and not to waste this chance since i dont think mugetsu will be back anytime soon unless gg gets glitchty or bored

I'd say since Mug is in UBP that Koga will not show up for at least a year or more...  it's a different power class of partners...  like the difference between Shini Kensei vs Mugetsu...  Mug outclasses Kensei all day long, just like Koga outclasses Mug...  if he isn't close to Muken (over 6 months) then getting Mug may well be a good pic to replace Yama (seriously, why would he use Yama in pve anyway?!?!?  that's mind blowing IMO)

mugetsu even though he is outdated a vip0 would reap the benefits from having him.. i mean im vip8 and even i picked him up..

to answer the question you asked and not a tangent...

Mugetsu is MUCH better than Yama, hands down, all day long, no questions...

Koga is better than Mugetsu, no doubt...

If you top up to inheret down, then yes, you would almost without a doubt go with Koga over Mugetsu IF he ever comes to UBP...

Will Koga come to UBP?  possibly, yes, but I can't imagine seeing him there before 2019 if this game is still open at that point, but being that we are seeing Mugetsu there, I don't suspect to see Koga there if I'm honest

Mugetsu is a great assaulter, will boost up the combo rate on your supports, give fury to himself and your vang, along with a whole slue of nastiness he lashes out on your foes...  He's MUCH faster than Yama, and will 100% for sure outshine him in PVP and PVE, and most probably in Void as well...

Is Koga better?   Not even a good question, yes, yes yes...  Koga is for sure better in almost every way, shape, and form...

Now I have a few questions for you to ask yourself...

1) Do you top up?
2) How close are you to getting Muken?
3) Will Koga ever show up in UBP?

Once you answer these questions truthfully to yourself I think you have your answer...

also, If you are within a few months of getting Muken, skip Mugetsu, Muken is so much better than him or Koga it isn't almost funny, and every time you inheret down partners, at best you only get 80% of the resources each time you move your stuff...  so lose 20% from Yama to Mug, 20% from Mug to Koga, and 20% from Koga to Muken = Muken being about 35% weaker than he would be if you skipped Mugetsu and Koga, and about 17% weaker than if you only had one of them in the mean time

Yea, if this was a Koga UBP I wouldn't even be creating a thread about it. It's obv he's a great partner, but in answer to your questions:

1) nope, don't top up anymore (am vip 4) but I have 1 top up card I've kept in reserve and enough gold left for 1 inherit besides
2) not even close lol
3) I can't answer that one, it's a possibility but who knows with GG. Atm I'm trying to build 2 other characters up in my team and it takes time and resources to evo and level up, so only downside is even if I got mugs right now he wouldn't be able to replace yama for a while yet

Haha I know Yama is low on the damage percentage but in the beginning as a vip 0 he was my best partner so I built the hell out of him and now since my better and newer partners aren't strong enough to do really good damage yet yama still manages to do the most damage incl the burn effect

Hopefully will change that once I've gotten hiki T1 (2 more evo levels to achieve that), then I don't have to worry about slow-ass kisuke T1-ing her (it'll be a while until I can replace him with Shinso as I just got him)

lol this is true, I forgot to factor in how long exactly it'd take before Koga would actually come round, if he ever does, and then I'm still sitting with old yama in the meantime
