does that 9th skill do more damage then the 8th skill? Or is that just base on your damage?

9th skill ups your mains dmg by 15%, 8th skill gives partners a small chance to get an extra turn, but it rarely happens. It's best for if you still use a vanguard, or if you got a zanpakuto that overides your atk dmg buff from 9th skill.

9th skill is not overrided by a zanpakuto as far as I know at least not by kazeshini which is what most people are using atm. the effects add up so its far more rewarding specially in a 2-3-0 formation

Think it is by ukitake's zan when you can get it, not 100% sure. I know there is one that overides certain partner buffs. Azreal said to use 8th skill only if you are using a vanguard still on your pve team or Sode whatever it's called Zan.

If non of those apply use 9th skill. Kazeshini is only used for PvE till you can get Zabimaru, then you switch to it.
