Edited by MylarHyrule at 2018-2-12 14:12

Currently running a 0-2-3 formation with RJ...
Main, Muken, Retsu K, Tenjiro, Shinso

considering dropping retsu for someone else...  currently saving for UBP, considering bringing in either a vanguard (TSI,already owned and leveled to 159) or someone...  not 100% sure...

if I bring in TSI, I'll need a third assaulter for events...  Sexy Yourichi is built up and paid off...  Resurection Ulquorria is there too, not built as nice as I wanted, but he's probably gonna do better in Void honestly

not sure what to do here...   any ideas?  will post pics this evening when I get home of the team in case you want them

as promised...  here are the pics of my current team and the folks I have in reserve...  not all of the peeps in reserve are paid off mind you...

looking to replace Retsu K as my ES and Ryoka damage are both golden and ATM I'm looking to improve PVP more...

TSI is looking like a solid choice IMO...  Rajin, Shin Isshin, Yama, and B Rukia are not paid off, although Shin Isshin is cheap enough I'd probably be willing to pick him up (even though I think I could do better)

and ideas would be welcomed for sure, weather I use them or not

Thanks in advance!!

also working to pick up Ultima Aizen and should be able to pick him up fairly quickly, and also have 3k vit saved up so far for UBP

Anyone care for a bump?

bwahahahaha

Bump. Huge Muken you get there... Does Res Ulquiorra's ignite works in pve? Honestly can't remember... If so, he can be your third assaulter... Sorry for my english, isn't my first language

Shin isshin is definitely worth it to combo muken. Depending on how far you are in  getting him from karakura event I'd just swap him for yoru till then.

thanks bro...  yeah it does, but I feel RJ's burn would be stronger without Ulquorria (as RJ's burn would be based off everyone's damage, including that huge Muken)

Shin Isshin was for sure my first choice, not messed up about spending some green on him, but honestly, I probably will just get the free weeks on him just in case I pick up a Yhwach or someone from UBP, lol  tired of wasting money, know what I mean?

For PVP, you definitely need a vanguard. Fortunate enough for you that you have TSI. I'd suggest Noza though since TSI is an offensive vanguard like Starrk while Noza is more of both offensive and defensive due to his blocking potential.
I am using Noza myself as a side partner and he is doing pretty well in my opinion.

my Noza was for sure a beast, but I can easily get my TSI's block rate up to 165ish (once I re-mod him) without sacrificing anything on anyone else  and especially with that defense boost from my RJ, that healing mod should more than make up for that extra 30+% I would get on Noza I'd wager

Well I mean your Noza comes with a high block overall where as you have to spend some green on that RNG of increasing block rate on TSI. Since you already have pure damage from your Muken and, even that back line why not save yourself some extra green by going with your Noza. We all know how much you loved using him and, now that you have an awesome looking team he'd be a great addition just for that block damage and, stun.

You have already Noza why spend gold on TSI lease. You have Jakka and Muken, you need defensive VG, you won't have any use of offensive VG while you stack Muken. VG is there to cover your Muken and rest of team now. Rather focus on pvp supporter who will buff your Muken. Shy Nemu was great as her skill goes nice with 25% attack that RJ gives.

stacking up my Muken so hard and swapping to a 0-2-3 for a while really hurt my str stone game on everyone but Muken, lol...  got more mod swapping to do, and more modding to do but he should end up over 200% block rate quite easily...   he needs more stones and that is one of my primary concerns on him ATM...  just brought him back today so he should grow quite quickly if i'm honest...

yeah...  I was quite sure ultima aizen was just to kill time...  wasn't gonna put much/any work in him if i got him before I picked up something from UBP

and for the TSI vs Noza thing...  I just knew I could block MUCH more than TSI with Noza...  add RJ's def buff to that and I would be able to tank MUCH more with Noza than TSI with reliabliitity...  and in VOID, I was gonna pull Hit stones off of all but Muken and see what happened to the damage (a bastardization of one of your suggestions honestly)

Block isn't a big deal, honestly... especially with a lot of partners nowadays are attacking all... Plus, the amount of work you put into Aizen, you won't have much to offer on the VG. So the block doesnt hurt as much. But in terms of skills, exclusive or normal TSI, the buff+debuff is still better than Noza. How much work do you think your block will do against enemy vs. a skill that will damage all enemies for you.

I feel Noza will live longer than TSI...  he already survives almost as long as Muken does for many fights...  with RJ, survival is a weapon in and of itself.  TSI might well have been the better choice, however I have to disagree with you on one point...  block DOES mean a great deal...  a blocked hit only deals like 10% of the damage a non-blocked one does...  200+% block rate matched with RJ's def buff makes Noza VERY hard to kill with physical attacks, even with his anemic stones  and that block rate also applies to kido damage as well, effectively raising the crap out of his kido def as well...  something that TSI would have trouble with, and as you know, kido damage is something you MUST deal with these days

Multilate will kill your VG regardless of block. Doesn't matter if you have 200% block.

Yes, VG needs to deal with kido attack. But here's the thing... so does Supports... they need to deal with Physical Damage. With so many people stacking their Muken, I doubt they are well guarded physically... for their supports. As long as you cant take out their supports, your team will die for sure.

Noza can't even reach enemy supports, and if the enemy have RJ too, your Noza will be a dead meat.

and I do see your point, but I just feel that I will get more bang for the buck from Noza as he will not be a stacked vanguard...  and for a good support, I am saving for UBP and am honestly hoping for Isane Kotetsu, or someone like Rajin Yourichi (the first orange one that will show up, my prophecy) to get more speed and a more consistent first strike.
**edit**
and as a VERY experienced Noza user, I can tell you from first hand experience, if he's not overpowered and shat on, Noza's damage can for sure reach that back row easily...  in fact, let me be frank about it...  block damage is probably the best damage in the game I have came across except for mutulate, and with RJ there, that is a given as well...
