Most of you might call me a noob and its something obvious for you but its not for me and I find it weird.

As you can see he is using STR/WIS/AGI on every part of his gear for all his chars.. whether its wisdom user or str user... all his refines are str/wis/agi

So here is the question
Is this really better than stamina?
does STR really helps WISDOM chars?

I mean I know you attack sometimes with ur sword or w/e but shouldn't you be needing only wisdom for that when you are a KIDO user?

for my inferno gear I'm going with
STR+AGI+STAM for Str users
WIS+AGI+STAM for kido users


I was shocked seeing him using STR for a kido char, but I'm sure there is an explanation why he is using STR as a wisdom char..

In a different MMO it's noobish tbh   just like a mage in wow with full str stones

But Idk how this game works, I'm a noob here so please guide me, correct me if I'm wrong and explain for me how does this work

they aren't even in the same csb/wis already cleared full hollow soul map

why would he bother to lift a finger, his bp hasn't increased in the last 2months btw

strength increase phys attack and def so yes its useful if you are a kido attak it improves your defence to physicall attackers

I just made an interesting comparison between stamina and defense
I compared those two partners with a lvl10 stamina stone and a lvl10 str stone
Shinso Gin
Shin Yourichi

So lets start with STR
Shinso Gin has 3.5 growth rate
Shin Yourichi has 3.5 growth rate

Shinso Gin got 3259 defense from lvl10 STR stone
Shin Yourichi got 6942 defense from lvl10 STR stone

Lets move now to STAM
Shinso Gin has 3.8 growth rate
Shin Yourichi has 3.1 growth rate

Shinso Gin got 18355 stamina from lvl10 STAM stone
Shin Yourichi got 175139 stamina from lvl10 STAM stone

I can tell that defense is much less for a kido user but for stamina I think its almost the same.

This is the comparison, you are free to choose between defense/kido defense or stamina.
I personally choose stamina

PS the same thing goes with kido defense, str user will get less kido defense when using wisdom, than the orginal kido user

I just wanted to see what kind of refines he has/gear etc

it's pretty difficult to choose between def/kido def or stam

dunno about battle mage in mmorpg, cuz most of them focus on magic attack

unless they have a temp buff that converts all matk in phys dmg for a period of time

for ranged attax

only battle mages I know of for sure

STR users gain more def than wisdom users..

so when you give STR to a wisdom char he gains alot less

but when you give stam it's the same

but idk if defense is really better, I should refine like wis

wis has those because all of his % passive stats are maxed, he doesn't swap gear either, unless he puts his vg stuff on his kenpachi xDD

I see the reason behind it more for swapping between characters.

If you run str/sta/agi on 3 chars that limits the gear set to 3 str based chars unless you refine to change it when needed. If you are running 2 wis armor sets with wis/sta/agi it limits you to two kido type chars with optimum stats.

So if you wanted to run a 3-1-1 formation you would be running a str set on a kido user or if you were running a 1-3-1 formation you would end up with a str user with a kido set. Having the stats as str/wis/agi allows the armor to be viable for all formation setups.

He can afford it, question you're a ghost blade, vulnurable to kido, the best thing to do is to increase counter and stamina to stay long, but if you have wisdom then the strat attks gonna be lower in dmg, in your vg you do put some wisdom even if all the vg (i've seen) are streng based, so you're answer is here, all his team attks and defend at same time, against wis when you attk him he's not defending he's attking (blok also) that's why he's n1 in here

he is ofc, but imagine having this team when your oponent has any kind of types (kido strengh...) attks all your team, one: you don't take as much dmg as you should have, two: the blok in all your team can be deadly if he didn't afford the break def stones to do so, anyway you're on the same path as him goodlukc though, he has stopeed being serious these months, proba got bored nobody can give him a real challenge

Then it comes down to exactly how much dmg is reduced from each point of defense vs the value point of sta and there are other mathematicians on the forums that might delve into those things i'm no where nears endgame so haven't looked into that

Yes you are absolutely right.. but what i'm trying to find is.. the str given to kido users.. which will make them gain defense.. I want to find the exact number and compare it with stam and see the difference

ok stam will give you only health, example i'm saying nonsense in numbers, 1 stam sote gives 100 hp, your oponent make 200 dmg and he's a strengh user,, you're one and has 150 defense phisical; ie from your hp you lose 50 = 50 hp left, if he was a kido and made same but since you're strengh you don't have the strat defense enough, 200 dmg here become more critical, the oposite is true also;

imagine now you have both 150 physicla and strat defense, you gotta to know strengh and wis sstones gives both attks and defense boost, that's where a sup can be tough against an asaulter to be killed and vise versa

I just did a calculation based on inferno gear

I was wrong with my previous calculation.. I can't compare a stone with a refine attribute, simply because a stone is a % while refine isn't which means you will get the same defense whether you are a kido user or a strength user. (I found out after a long calculation '' feels stupid '' )

So basically thats the result

7,200 stamina vs 2820 defense/kido defense

from that result I can say defense is way much better than stamina.

which makes me a complete noob to open this thread

Ur comparison on str vs stam is not accurate at all. U should see how much damage u receive with 2 different stones, not how much each increase. I can see that Wis is doing it for the minor boost in physical def. As all knows, physical attackers are more than kido, thus his str stats to increase the def. I might be wrong, but that's how I'd think.

Well, you can't really compare them with that because each opponent is completely different geared than you which will make it wrong calculation and you can't tell what is better, I just gave you the basice number you will get from each and from your experience you should know what is better to choose.

and I think you didn't really get it because  I didn't compare the stones.. I just calculated how much stamina i'll get from 6 parts of inferno gear (full set) vs 6 parts with wis or str

so you either choose between this kind of stamina increase or this kind of defense increase

I say the defense increase its better because you don't lose any defense / kido defense from attributes but you do lose from stones.. EXAMPLE is +30% str stone on kido user will give him much less than an str user because his talent isn't with str, he is not build with str so it's obvious for him to get lower defense but with GEAR refine he will get the SAME kind of defense... because you get it as a fixed number not a %.

example inferno gear gives 470 str / wis for each part

6x470 = 2820 increase defense  on STR or KIDO user doesnt matter, both will get the same

but when you use a stone of +30% str

on lets say shinso gin he will get 3259 defense
while shin yourichi will get 6586 defense

thats why a STR stone for a kido user isnt that good while an STR attribute in gear for a kido user is really effective because you don't lose any EXTRA defense.

I think I get what u mean. Yet still this discussion revolves around str vs stam in which Wis chose str. Maybe we can do the comparison by using hogu and fight the same opponent using just main. One round using str hogu and another wihout. We can then compare the dmg received and based on that, calculate if having the extra stam on all 6 gears are better or having str instead.

s30 has stopped the upgrades, and slowing down a lot, even not playing for days then coming back, that's the general server pace, as for wis you have to ask a person playing in his server, but from what i seen the lasts csb he didn't seem to play a lot based on the points

Shinigami Yoruichi's passive gives her a boost to agility, damage rate and combo rate. Doesnt give her any % to strenght. The fact that the bonuses are different even if both characters have the same growth rate for the same stat is base stats. That's all

1st thing curls is your IGN kouno asahi or something and are you from eu 94? if so you were on my Las Noches today and youre too damn strong the funny thing is i didnt get 1 shotted by your zan but when i fought wis only my main and vg barely survived after his zan attacked monsters
2nd thing you worry too much and plan too much ......you wont get to fight strong opp's ever and wont get any challenge cause youre already too strong for someone in your CSB .... i'll bet after 1 month you'll be complaining on the forums that this game aint fun anymore cause you wont have anyone to give you a challenge xD

Well, Wis have achieved his goal or bored thats why he is slowing down.. i'm still far behind.. and my goal isn't to beat wis, my goal is to reach lvl150, get full swp just for fun, full soul map 6/6 on all partners, orange name and then idk what i'll do.. maybe everyday i try pvp with different formation.. or do something funny like fighting with ganju if it's possible to get him back.. or fighting with weak partners like orhimie / sado / renji .. maybe use wabisuke as zankpto .. I can make challengers so i don't worry about that xD

but ofcourse that goal will take approx 1~2 years

That correct, Wis does not play anymore. The last time he was online it was somewhere in January, there is maybe 1 reason for him to come back it is if hollow Ichigo is getting released. The question will still be what he will do. He did achieve all he wanted.

He's rushing through content way too fast and I hate to say it but I'm pretty sure he'll end up like Absan making a re-fund thread on the forums. I've seen this happen too many times. Optimistic players come and want to be the strongest, not afraid to dump in a load of cash and leave afterwards because there is no one that can touch them or the game becomes repetitive.

At the end of the day when your Reiatsu is level 100 and all of your gear is maxed there's nothing more to do than the daily stuff, this will become a grind. There is no reason to do CSB or HMA because all their partners are from gold events. You don't need to do ES anymore because you already have a surplus of silver. Ryoka is the only thing left that will be able to make them stronger, which will become boring pretty fast.

I hope I'm wrong though, Curls seems like a nice person and he makes the forums a bit more active.

too bad, if gogames were a little invative creating once a month or 3 month a street fight depending on yourvip lvl from 0 to 10 can be great

I have t1 thats why i'm saying its broken ._.  i defeat opp's with well thought out formations and everything clearly stronger than me..... but the reason i defeat them is because they dont have t1.....yesterday i fought a person in HMA he was running a 1-1-3  formation and his every single partner except his vg was faster than my team BUT since that person didnt have t1 he got 1 shot by me ......althouh t1 does make things easy imo without it we'd have more fun cause we'd have to think stuff out a bit more..........

I'm not really rushing, I'm like that in every mmo I played..

for example

I lvled in Aion from 1 to 65 in 5 days

an average player would take him 2 months

I like to do things fast.. it's my personality.. I want everything done in 1 day.. I don't like to wait for things, it will just make me quit faster.

This is not my first game that I've spent alot
Yes this one is the first one which I spent way more than others but i'm not the kind of person who asks for re-fund because I won't accept it for myself, how would I accept it for others?

for example if you sell a car, and after 6 months the buyer comes to you and say '' I want a re-fund because you sold me an expensive car and i'm not using it now '' ..  would you re-fund him or tell him to gtfo? xD

Never expect me to open such a thread about re-fund because I find it as stupid as the example I gave you

yeah after u r way up there... things become dull n bored... it happens in every other game...

everyday seems to be like a chore routine... hics... the onli thing alive is the chat n the forums...

Well its almost same if use stam or str on supports. What it matters is they're mods most of them have for both hp and psyh defence and that comment with the swaping items is totaly wrong .....
