Hello everyone. I'd like to hear your opinion about this Zanpakuto. Going through it's stats and buffs with the skill it looks amazing if you have/want a heavy support damage composition. Since supporters are usually really fast because of their agility passives and growth rates, getting a 21% speed buff and yet another 12% buff after the zan's skill sounds like it's really hard to be outspeeded by someone even with Zangetsu or Senbon. Exception to that might be White Ichigo but, to be honest, I dont really worry myself with him.
It also has a higher reiatsu % modifier than zangetsu ( 125% vs 130% ) and gives the VG some buffs in HP and immune rate aswell.
Do you guys think it can be used on a competitive level at high levels of play? Specially in CSB and HMA since those are my 2 primary concerns.
Opinions?

muramasa can definitely be a great zanpakuto with the right setup.

Muramasa only matters if you've got the Spirit Stones to help with the damage rate and movement speed rate. I've seen some people in Hueco/CSB with Muramasa that simply don't have the damage or movement speed to make up for the Zanpakuto.

With higher level equips that opinion may change over time, but overall better Partners/Spirit Stones seem to hold a slightly higher value. Though i'd certainly consider getting Muramasa in an event such as UBP.

He's great in the right hands with the right partners and such. People can't just get him and expect him to work like others I believe since support is usually not focused as heavily on for most. The temptation is there with me to get him, but I don't think he'll be optimal right now. Though if I did get him, I could finally be faster than Honda Katsu's Yama

yeah... Muramasa is support driven...

i guess i am 1 of those players tht heavily focus on my supports...

they do way better than my assaulters...

i would so luv to hav muramasa... but i am not spendin anymore...

so i guess i ll be happy wit hyorin...

I love my supports too. Shinso Gin would be so fast with him but I'm in no rush for that.

so far wat do u think about him... can u rely him on stuns ?

i guess he is like my CSB Aizen... attk is great... but then stuns n debuffs r like so random...

n yeah they hav great speed...

i wonder wats ur top speed wit ur shin gin ?

I'm totally happy I got him. I got him the second time he came out after release which was Joint Task and I've never been happier with a purchase since then. He's such a great asset for so many teams. With him I T1 my whole team after his attack goes off if nobody is fury restricted. Lucky nobody but Honda Katsu and Mari in US CSB 42-47 have Yama so far, so I'm kinda safe. His stun rate is rather low that I've experienced. Like you put it, it's so random that I can't ever count on it. I have him at 172k speed with full cyclone infused and zangetsu atm at 107 which doesn't seem fast enough. Only 61 Reiatsu cuz I've been lazy getting partners for Hollow Souls. Hyour pushes over 178k. Stopped pushing his speed since I got Yama, now it's time to buff him up ^_^.

well i guess u use him as a kisuke replacement... which is good... for fury buffer...

but the speed is realli kinda slow... u need to hav him at least 230k n above...

For who I'm fighting against, it's not needed as nobody pushes 200k speed so far. The missing stats can be level difference and lack of Reiatsu. He's great on events too, him and DRukia/Cute Orihime help whole team skill every turn. It's quite fun.

my no.1 opponent who got my ass torn is havin speed of 240k+

but yea... lvl diff n reiatsu plays a part too... if i run a 1 1 3 formation... then my whole team can fury

coz rite now i am not usin Kisuke anymore... except for ES...

so i onli hav 2 main T1... n thts alrd good enuf...

Gin helps out tremendously to T1 all. Saves lots of $ that can be used for core stat stones or to start building block on everyone. Yeah, Kisuke does the same thing, but Gin hits like a truck compared to him most of the time.

yeapz... fury stones can be gotten slowly... wit some realli good event... its so called FREE...

as for gold... i hardly use it to buy stones... my stones r mostly FREE... n FREE from event rewards...

buyin stones wit gold is not wrong... but i finally figured it out tht... stones can get thru rewards n events

so u dun need to buy them like crazy... u can even use coupons to buy stones...

but i still dun use to do tht... no coupons spend on stones... xixixixi

Yeah, I'm just taking it easy and playing the game. Still have 3 sets of cyclone to max infuse, so another month or so perhaps then I can push for more. 110 set would be great to have on Gin and Urahara. They keep comboing off of each other. One fight in CSB had them attack 3x in a row each before the next partner could attack.

i hav tons of infuse for lvl 110... i can open a walmart wit it... wakakakakaka...

but i dun hav lvl 110 ulti gears... hics... not goin to hav them i guess...

yeah infusin is a pain... but after u max infuse u ll see the potential...

n yeah lvl 110 ulti does gif heck load combo...

muramasa + a tamed shinso.gin is very deadly . i just hope i don't see any such in my csb

muramasa is the equivalent of a zang+assaulter team. muramasa+support with the right allocation of agi stones will get you that extra 2-3 or even more wins in csb. if going for muramasa, your endgame formation would/could be 3-1-1 . i am with zang and still thanks to his speed to assaulters i can beat some stronger players in the game. just imagining muramasa with strong supports gives me the feelers

Haha I knew you would get it soon lol! Your Isshin T1 setup totally stalls me out! Enjoy me not having full cyclone now lol ^_^.

Yeah his yamajii god damn fast ^^ but believe me isshin is really fast too if i put my speed items on isshin he is so close speed with his yamajii even i dont have high lvl agi stones like him =) and nice signature dude but u definetly took 3rd place already ^^

Yeah I agree with what most of you have said. I already have Shinso Gin + Shinigami Urahara as supports. Running a 1-2-2 set up for now. Aiming for CSB Aizen. Those 3 together buffed up with Muramasa will definately pack a punch. Hopefully Muramasa shows himself up for a "decent" prize in the close future

I've had the same thing happened to me. They keep combo'ing with each other it's hilarious. Gives the enemy no chance to react haha

Nobody in my server use it, the only time i battled a dude having this zan was too yong to put some challenge, sorry, but this zan is made for a 1 1 3 formation, if you're a ghost blade it can be a very good zan
