What is Break defence and what does it do?

I have heard a lot of theories, but what i seek is a definite answer to what it does

1 theory for example is that its like counter is to crit rate, so it makes the chance of getting blocked lower, or it decreases the dmg given to an opponent who blocks you.

Anyone who knows?

bdef - it allows you to deal more dmg to the opponent. it like removing their armor to land harder hit, and with crit rate. that dmg is more.

Break defense prevents you from getting blocked. Block damage is the same amount of damage as a normal hit

Crit - Counter
Hit - Dodge
Block - Break

Break defense reduces your chance of your opponent causing you block damage (due to a high block rate). Basically its the counter to block stones.

How do i get my senju break over 90% ? I have from stones 144% but she only does 90% and she doesn't have mod to surpass it >_>

Break defense removes your opponents chance to block.
Block is when you take minimal damage and hit back.
Usually a Vanguard trait but a high block is never bad on any character.
