us servers have been down for more than ten hours now
with no response from gogames im taking a poll of all those who pay to play
to see how much gold we should be compensated

LMFAO... you REALLY think they will compensate anywhere NEAR those totals? honestly? you'd be lucky to get 2mil silver and a "we're sorry for the inconvenience" crap mail.... they do NOT care about the players... the f2p OR the gold players.... BOYCOTT GOGAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's an over-reaction.
I'm sure they are doing all they can to resolve this problem, and the only thing we can do is be patient and wait. Yes it would be nice to have any amount that is specified as compensation.
Just wait and let's see what happens there is no need to come to hasty conclusions of what is happening.
Plus it's just a game no need to get so worked up.

those totals are a conservative estimate of what each player would have lost today
any compensation lower than my lowest estimate is insufficient

500 gold? that's instant VIP for all f2p players....never happen in a million years with Gogames... so strike the gold compensation out of your mind.... you MIGHT get 100 coupons... 2 mil silver.... don't count on much more... I'd be losing out on close to 20 mil silver due to this server issue.... I don't expect anything from them cause I know how greedy they really are

I would be surprised if they give us anything. More than likely if they do it will be silver since you can earn it, and Gold you have to buy so they will probably not give that.

i agree the free to play compensation should be less than those who are vip
thats part of the reason i specified pay to play for this poll
hopefully they can at least compensate for the lost exp/souls and silver

actually dont think, based on what, you think Vip players deserve more compensation than f2p players??, im Vip4 and can get a lot more stuff from events than some Vip5 to Vip7 even a bit more than 1 Vip9 at ES and sometimes Ryoka, so the compensation (if they gonna give compensation) must be the same for all the players

2 things….

Apparently no one has experienced the downtime of big MMORPG such as Everquest or WoW. This was bound to happen after the server merge. The company GoGames who I believe does not really care for the players, is losing money with the servers being down. I am guessing multiple servers are down at this time. In my experience with a true MMORPG most expansions/fixes etc are riddled with bugs and require maintenance to fix them. This being a flash game on a smaller scale, a server merge was bound to cause a bunch of issues. When I played Everquest, I had multiple days nights and such that required a lot of time to fix. Since this is a less complex game than EQ/WoW then it shouldn't take as long.

Many things can contribute to this, their servers aren't big enough to handle merge as they originally thought or there is an exploit somewhere in the game that was found, we just don't know. HOWEVER they should update us with a server status of estimated downtime, or updates on progress. That is better customer service.

People's patience wears thin, mine has as well with things such as shura's in the palace not getting their waters and losing spots when they weren't challenged. I was close to quitting the other day after the chaos that is Ryoka was buggy. I then thought, "Oh wait, i have experienced this before on a much bigger scale.

I am vp6 so I have money invested in the game, and do realize a power balance issue with it. I will never be #1 on the server or top 5 for that matter for a long time, because I can't afford to dump a ridiculous amount of money into the game. People like myself are stuck in a shitty middle game and top up so that we can beat the one or two people in the arena that are beating us, or pass the person above us in damage PVE. There are 3 tiers to this game, High End, Middle and Low. Just like financial standing in communities. You have more money you live better. Plain and simple. (excluding those freaks that can tweak their characters so good and understand stats and strategies with characters but those are few and far between)

BUT I knew that coming into the game. People piss and moan about the people who spend a lot of money on the game, this game throws top up in your face as soon as you start playing, so I am not sure why people are so butt hurt about it. Just enjoy the game and wait for the downtime to be over with.

I would not expect any compensation (especially a gold compensation) because anything over 10 that would put people over into Vp1 since we all get 90 gold starting out.

firstly this poll is asking paying players what theoretical compensation they believe they deserve
secondly ive already established that the compensation (if any) should be different, based on
the evaluation of a one month earning average of the individual character,
calculate an individual day from the month average ,
add 25% soul/exp/silver/coupons to that average
sound fair?

not tht i am complainin... but its time ppl start voicing out...

not tht bcoz i spend a ton or anythin... i spend some good amount on it bcoz i think its worth it n i hav fun playin...

but this kinda of bugs n the lack of support n attention for all of us... kinda of make me lose all the fun...

not tht we players is hopin for an instant troubleshoot or problem solvin support...

but at least gif us some support tht talks to us... understan the problem... n try to manage it...

invitin us on skype bcoz we r vips n so tht we can communicate wit them on game stuffs...

but they r never on 90% of the time... dang... then wats the point of doin it...

i heard theres lack of staffin for support or some problems goin on... n maybe the 2 person doin support is kinda pist too...

maybe they r gettin peanuts n doin a whole shitload... i ll be pist n unhappy too if i am in their position...

but they too need to voice out to their superior or the owners of the company n make it be heard...

i ve seen game company closed down n its all bcoz of the ignorance of the game company or the owners...

well thank god n lucky for them... they r not based in my country... or they ll nicely hear it from me...

as for compensation... i dun think they can compensate me for my time lost ...

all i wan n maybe the rest of the gamers wans is... good support... n updates or info n not keep us in the dark like this...

well sorry for the ranting or complain... bcoz i m not very happy when i purposely wake up at 2am + to attend event
n then not gettin back to sleep n str8 to my werk... n try to login every now n then to check if its up or not...
n hopin to hear somethin from the support or devs...

The funny part is they don't even read the stuff we write here . they have mods do it and that dose us no good cause they don't care what the mods report . they don't have them here for that they only have them here to make comments for time to time to make players think someone gives a dam. I know this cause i worked as a mod before for one of these company s and trust me even if the mod would like to help they can't cause they have no power . the only ones that can do anything is the owners and they also have others to answer to. So all and all forms only give us a place to vent. I have found these type games your on your own and try and have fun till you get sick of them and then go to WoW or SWTOR or what ever real online rpg catches your eye . Think of this 14.99 usd a month and you can play on a lv playing ground in those games . it get boring grinding sometimes that's when you go to these free games but if i were you i would not invest in them or you will be sadly disappointed. And if you do spend money think of it as a day pass cause that's really all you get from these is a short ride. I do feel for everyone that's why i say go to one of these other game and spend your money you will get more bang for your buck. And just use these as time fillers till the new expanse comes out lol.

I think they r having a maintenence...i heard that there was going to be another maintenence on 7th but we didnt have a maintenence so i think its going on now.well anyways lets have patient and hope nthing dissappears from our backpack...

LOL for once its the US server with a problem and not EU....I laugh at your expectations and reactions when we EUs usually get the s#!t end. When we EU servers encounter a prob like this but US is working fine after they fix it they dont give us SH!7! they only give if both server had a prob...so i gotta see how they gona handle this, like gogames(nothing) or racist(give you compensation).
