Hey everyone. Just here to give some advice and see what you guys think.

Alright lets get this started ^_^. I personally think that Tosen is the best assaulter under level 100, Considering his speed skill and his damage nullify ability, He is definiately more powerful in not only PvP, but also trial tower, and seireitei soul palace, many people have gone with ikkaku only because everyone thinks he is the best, because, no one really uses tosen. WHICH IS A MISTAKE! I am giving you my honest advice, if you see this post, get Tosen, trust me.
Now, for the poll!
Who do you think is the best assaulter? and why? Do you agree or disagree with me? Note- If you have never used Tosen before, please try and find a way to try him out before disagreeing. If you have used Ikkaku or Byakuya, which do you prefer?

Also, I have decided to also include kenpachi in this post. I do not think he is THAT great though. I will also allow the purple reishi assaulters just for fun

tousen not good u just need over the damage, only 1 turn null worthless, still d best ikaku fury reduce to vang, if the enemy hv gin he just paper lol.

ya but he will reduce the fury attack so thats good, plus he's assaulter attack so no need to vangbust.

I see under lvl 100 assaulter, so I'm only going to compare to under lvl 100 chars. Tosen is ridiculously good with the proper jades (but then again who isn't). If you run no healer he would be a better option than anyone else, maybe save yourself some health, otherwise it's Ikkaku for the fury gain. Zaraki is just if you really need to spread some hit gems to keep everyone max. Byakuya, even with the the new 2x hp during arena and such you can go boom, everyone is dead in 1 round, but once you eclipse that 100+ mark where everyone runs Gin, who will always be faster (unless they're horrible) he is kind of null an void unless that aoe actually goes off. With some of the new changes the answers are almost going back to the former "depends on your form". Rambling like usual, but on a final note, 2x hp has changed up the game a little bit, more interesting, longer fights where abilities actually matter. That last sentiment said, Tosen has "arguably" the best ability (that debuff....), and is my whole reason for choosing the (2 of em) option, Ikkaku and Tosen.
Side note - I actually use Zaraki in my main form, lols

Well, Thanks for all the responses so far, I'm surprised only 1 person voted for Tosen though. Tosen beats ANY OTHER ASSAULTER under lv 100, if he goes 1st, which he almost always does because of his agility skill, let me clarify something, If he uses his skill on round 2, that is the same turn the opponents assaulters use THEIR skill, essentially, from what I have seen, he brings their damage down from about 40-70k a hit to 5-16k a hit. That is seriously good.

w/ high speed tosen is a good PVP partner, im not VIP and 1 time in my server a VIP name kenpachi has tosen, as his partner, i check my main stats and i have high damage,i check his tosen stats, low attck and low def but he has a high speed,when we fight because his tosen has high speed,he use his skill 1st, then when my main turns to hit the last skill, my damage is so low that i cant even half his tosen HP, then i work on my speed and out speed his tosen, to cut the story short my main 1 skill his tosen when i have more Speed, but if his tosen has more speed i cant even half damage his tosen even if its stats is very low, so i think tosen is a good partner aslong that he has super high speed

i would have gone with tosen but i am using rukia mod partner fury. so if i use tosen then i have to make sure that the main i fight is faster than my tosen so that my main does his normal attack first, then my tosen does his skill attack. also if opp is using partner fury then my tosen has to be faster than his tosen. so its a big risk . i think i will go with byakuya who will attack all enemies in his skill attack. in that case i dt have to worry about anyone being faster or slower, most of the cases i will be able to deal damage to all and that is much better than tosen in my formation.

hence the best assaulter title is not something consistent, it all depends upon ur team

This is an incredibly biased poll. Tosen is a pvp partner, Ikkaku is PVE. Whats more its comparing Apples to Oranges. Tosen doesn't hit everyone, and he's not gonna protect you from Halibel/Gin/Momo who will just stun your ass, making that incredibly brief damage nerf pointless. Yeah he's "good" but most people care more for PVE, making Kisuke and Ikkaku godly brothers in arms, with little sister Rukia. I'll be blunt. He's only good if you hit that skill the same turn the enemies main uses his and of course thats before he does. To much bs to calculate.

No, Not much to calculate at all, All it takes is ensuring Tosen starts, and considering he has an agility boost, That's not hard. Now, Tosen is great for PVE as well, Perhaps not for ES/Ryoka, But, His ability is seriously good. Anyway, The post was not initially meant to be biased. Actually, not at all. You do understand I was asking for an opinion on peoples favorites right, and who THEY think are the best. How is that biased? And no, it's not comparing apples and oranges, It's comparing assaulters in a way that was not meant to be specific to PVE or PVP.

Stats for stats, I would say best assaulter with equal gear all around:

PvP: Shinigami Yoruichi -- 2 rounds of invincibility to everything except Zanpaktou Damage, how do you compete with that?
Equal stones / equipment / hogus / hyogoku / accessories

PvE: Sexy Yoruichi, 305% + regen self fury + team fury.
Which other assaulter gives team fury and does 305% growth?
Point for point overall damage, Sexy Yoruichi takes the cake with ease.

I only recall kensei as the only assaulter at that lvl, and frankly he's not worth it in the long term, if you wanna bet on a lvl70 partner go for yoruichi and sajin, and it's not the fact that everyody does it why i tell this, in term of tavern and until lvl100 (my lvl 102) there is no other partner than yoru wich can stun and debuf the supporters rivals, and sajin is basically good till recruiting stark wich is damn good.

For the main topic: tavern lvl80, most of people choose ikkaku for his polyvalence, but tosen and byakuya are damn good in arena and csb, specially tosen who has a unique skil, and it's freaking dangerous as skill if you prepare tosen well, thus only vip's can handle a partner like him cuz he needs high stones; lvl90 kenpachi is damn good for both es/ryoka/hollow map.

Finally the swp shop, if you're f2p go for renji he's good, the others you can't (talking about the upgrades). If you're vip ulkiora can be good.
To sum up, i'd say ikkaku is the best for the general public, it's basically the must for f2p's, However it all depends on your team and vip lvl to choose a better suited one, i'd say for high vips tosen is a good bet in tavern combined with yoruichi as supporter or haribel/gin

Is Zaraki a better option over Ikkaku for a 90 level f2p who wasn't able to gather the silver amount to get him in the 80+ level? Is mostly for pve.

I would agree that tosen has the best ability and is by far the best Tavern assaulter but as Kosmik pointed out the hp boost has changed the game completely now and its more about chaining a team together to be good no longer about who gets first hit (till 100+ where speed is all that matters) but it is nice to see what peoples opinions are.

I'd say go for both ikkaku and zaraki for your pve team they will double your amount of silver

where is Shura Kenpachi in this list? He is lvl 70 when u get him, so he is technically under lvl 100... he is the hardest hitter i've met so far

Talking about assaulter stunning and doing other support work? That's not the best assaulter but a valuable one. Like ur sales manager who can wash the toilet. He ain't the best but definitely a valuable employee.

Tbh, I'd go with either Byakuya or Ikkaku. You can always just get Grimmjow for PvE and Bya for PvP. Ikkaku is good for both but Byakuya outshines him in PvP. As for Tosen, he becomes obsolete as soon as you get Gin because well, fury deduct and Tosen using his skill before their fury.

Pve is ES and ryoka.. any thing other than those 2 are pvp based which need a partner to AOE attack..

And Ikkaku is much better than Tousen in pve

Best 2 pve partners under 100 are Kenpachi Zaraki and Ikkaku Madarame

Best 2 pvp partners under 100 are Byakuya Kuchiki and Kaname Tosen

so its all about what you want.. But I prefer Pve partners until lvl150

i'd say this. i might get tosen now. my yoruichi out speeds most people. i think with the right set up tosen will be godly in pvp. get yoruichi or aizen for support safety then maybe gin or any other supporter will do. like maybe unohana just in case. but yeah. i would like to test this out. and that being the fact he'd help replace my shin grimmjow since they are both spirit blades. but yeah. thanks for this post man. helping me out a bit here. and i think if yoruichi or aizen attacks first then tosen attacks second before your enemy it'd be a good done deal so you wont have to worry about the supports like gin, tier and momo.

if you have either yoruichi or aizen you can use tosen to his fullest power. but mostly if your support moves first to cover tosen's ass getting hit by gin or any other Assaulter hitters.

what makes ikkaku the best option is his ability to farm much silver from pve events. especially those under 100 levels when you r kind of often short on silver what it comes to recruiting partners and you really have to choose wisely. So going for ikkaku is absolutely best way. tosens slight advantage in some encounters doesnt compare anyhow to ikkaku and what he has to offer in terms of farming you reiatsu/reishi

For pvp the best partner is byakuya-tousen(depends on their speed)
Usually i prefer pve so i'll vote ikkaku
Honestly i havent tried tousen yet but i'll mkae another acc and focus on pvp

with isshin you should use kenpachi. ikakku is just the better choice because of his fury regen and with double fury boosters he can skill every round basically (if 1 crits). but isshin secures that for kenpachi aswell.

have both ikkaku n kenpachi, but since u have ishin, u better use ken for pve purposes, as for pvp if u using a 1 3 1 formation ikkaku is better since he both regain fury n deduct fury,

the answer of this topics who best asaulter under lvl100 from tavern is definitly ikkau he's the most complete dmg dealer pvp n pve wise, since u have ishin the topic is irrelevent for u

but i voted Ikkaku because of PVE, SWP Grimm is also great. You just get more rewards from ES and Ryoka if your a killer there... one hit killing up to wave 50 will net you on average of $20 in stones every day, plus thousands of souls, 10M+ silver, and 20+ Epic Fail Chests. you results will vary, but this should be about as low as they go

I got Byaukua and must say, while i loved him, if i could do it again, and had assaulters for pve already, tosen would be who i would have gotten

I voted for Tosen because he's really strong in Hollow Soul Map.

However, you've left out the SWP Partners... Nel and Toshiro are really good IMO and Grimjow is good for PvE Events, too.

it really depends on the event tbh. pvp i like byakuya or rez ulquiora/yama (if you're sub 100, he's sub 100 ;p ). for swp a fully modded and stacked byakuya is op. for es/ryoka kenpachi all the way. really just depends on what you're doing

i choose kensei coz 30% combo rate at full evo and mod but ikkaku has a decent combo and fury decrese and tosen 50% less and fury decrese ahh...why did i choose kensei

I heard that with exc skills and mod, byakuya is the best assaulter now due to void he has. Ikkaku is really good too.
