I say F2P, but I'm VIP 5. I just haven't topped up since February, and I don't plan on doing so any time soon besides saving up gold from Anniversary + BanPow event.

So I got Muken last week and he is amazingly good. I'm currently running a 2-3-0 with Kisuke, Kirinji, Main, Isshin, Muken as my formation. I grabbed Isshin from Karakura Town Festival so I could get some extra damage in PvE as I took everything away from my OP D.Ichi. For my assaulters, I'm fine with where they are at right now.

What I really want is a new supporter that will help complement my Muken. I use Isshin to have Muken skill again, and Kisuke to t1 and have my Muken skilling every round. My Kirinji, however, is just sitting there doing nothing besides his 200% damage when he skills, but I gave his exclusives to Muken so my Kirinji basically does no damage compared to him.

What I'm asking for help is, what 5 candy partner in KTF is worth renting and replacing my Kirinji, or what cheap partner can I buy with the 2000 gold from the Anniversary + BanPow combo. I've been slowly building up my Jushiro Ukitake so I can have his Ex skill to boost Muken with 15% attack, but that is gonna take months to pull off and was just wondering if there was a better alternative to this. Also, I don't plan on doing UBP for a long time as I skipped Hiki to do evo's for Muken and stones from SA for him. Pretty much the only one I would benefit from there is Noble Isane or something.

I got her in like December, however, I would need to use Sogyo No Kotowari for that, and I have much more invested into my Tensa Zangetsu. Also, even if I use her with Tensa, the only buff I will get from that is the Block rate, but I seem to block almost every time in PvE.

she's usefull anyway, 30% block okay, 12% dmg rate is good considering you have a lot of combo rate with isshin, and you still gain 45 fury every time she hits...

With Muken, he skills every round if I crit. If he doesn't crit, I only need 25 fury, which Kisuke gives, therefore C.Ori is useless as she will just overfury for no reason. As for her 12% dmg rate, it gets overwritten anyways, so that buff is useless. All I get is 30% block, and that is even more useless as I have 90% block on my Assaulters, which is all you need in PvE.

Literally C.Ori takes away from my PvE damage more than Kirinji does

take out kisuke and use ori in a 2-3-0. you dont need double fury gains and ori gives the better buff w/ block. just get her to t1. i'd say if you want another pve assaulter go with unohana for her dmg which until you get her kirinji isnt so bad since he can also burn dmg.

I don't have the stones to get her pure t1. If I did, I would probably pure T1 Muken first :/

Also, I wanted to switch Kirinji as he is the only one that doesn't complement my Muken. Getting Unohana isn't going to help much anywhere besides doing a little more Kido damage. I was looking for a more permanent partner I can afford that will assist my Muken in doing more damage.
I personally don't think C.Ori is worth it just for her 30% block anyhow as she is also going to erase my Tensa's 25% damage ratewith her 12% which only makes my Muiken weaker. If you think C.Ori is going to buff Muken after the 7 turns, well no PvE will last that long as well as C.Ori will die within the first or 2nd turn in PvP with other Mukens or strong AOE damage dealers.

If you focus on Muken, then for PVP it is better to take partners with the effect after death. For PvE reinforcing Muken, first of all combo, break def, crit dmg.

you know that your zanpa's buff only last 3 rounds, and with isshin it's like 1 and a half turn, so cute is not that bad.
you know too that fury give extra dmg rate when you're at 100+ right ?
and with only 88 (or 89 don't remember) you don't block every time.
If you reject every advice you get, why do you post ?

The point of cute is the extra block as it puts you at about 120% so you block more and will dew more dmg. The 13% dmg loss from tensa is honestly nothing to worry about as it won't change much. And with all your assaulters blocking a hit that will almost double your dmg in pve. Bus as you said you don't have enough to t1 her yet (also t1 her first as she can t1 your assaulters not just muken and you can change it later as it's just stones)

If you want someone else to compliment I'd suggest tavern aizen ultimate aizen or yoruichi so you can cc enemy supports bc that's the main reason your muken will get hurt

you do know that zanpactos effects reapply every 3 rounds, right? plus, unless you run a stacked vang or maybe a super tanky assaulter, fights shouldn't last more than 3 or 4 rounds ever

I guess I see your point. The 12% loss in damage is pretty much negotiable as blocking is basically another 100% damage. Aight, I'll replace Kirinji for now with C.Ori and see how it twerks out. Tbh Kirinji doesn't last long in my PvP fights as my Muken will 1-shot the team, and then their brenji will kill my Kirinji before he attacks

also, don't forget that skilling with fury over 100 nets extra damage (even if it's just a little bit)... and the best part about cute orihime, you aren't using her for her damage or anything like that, just her skill... which means she needs basically no love what so ever to give you a nice boost, and giving her a ton of extra work doesn't give you very much boost, so you won't be tempted in spending all your goods on her!!

It's not that I'm trying to reject all advice, I just want to provide as much information as I can and weed out options that I don't think will apply. Such as the case with the Zanpakuto buff. It last 3 rounds, but my supports die in 1 round. PvE they will reapply so it lasts till like round 12 or 13 so it will always be rewritten by C.Ori anyhow since she buffs every round.

Though due to trojandrew, I'm gonna try C.ori. I wasn't trying to reject advice as I ended up going C.Ori anyways, I just needed the right reasons to pick her, and the reasons most people gave me didn't help my case. Trojandrew just made a really good case so I ended up listening to him

Also a really good point. What sucks though is that I need to make her faster than my Muken, who with no Agility stones or t12 Agi Hogu is almost faster than my Kisuke with 6 Lv. 10 Agi stones :/

Or maybe i don't need to make her faster than muken as I can use the 25% dmg rate from Tensa, then have C.Ori skill to provide Muken that block rate after.

General recommendations from my side: ukitake with ex-skill and/or shinso gin (with the latter one preferably replacing kisuke).
Well, dunno how usefull it would be at your stage, but: what about ex-skill shunsui? not that a good muken would need invincibility, but it could still f*ck up your opponents additionally.

Also, normal isane would be not bad either, since she wouldn't overwrite tensa (unlike her exceptionally sexy bikini version).
