Hi all, I was wondering if there are any decent assaulters that come around in the 12k gold range? I'm lvl 88 with Senju, Hiki, Z Renji, Komamura, and Muramasa with around 6-8 stones on everyone. I was planning on getting whatever Van came out this UBP so I guess I'll pick up Ichibe but are there any assaulters I can get if I top up 4k to get 12k this event? Haven't seen any so I'm wondering if I'd be better off using my 12k to get Ichibe in Anniversary Feast and just keep stacking vit for the next UBP?

If you topped up 12k yesterday you could have gotten at 20k assaulter with this event. But next event a good 12k assaulter would be brenji or the zero  guard assaulter. (Go brenji he's much better)

lol...  koga is 15k, b renji IS 12k, but white ichi is better than b renji everywhere but ES I believe...  maybe Ryoka, but with his +25% damage rate on assaulters depending on your build he can outdamage him with many builds in ryoka...

is white ichi outdated?  yeah, but he's 1/4th the price of what he used to be, lol

white ichi is a good suggestion, so is b renji, but b renji has already been suggested as well

and yes, koga is better but is not in the 12k price range anywhere i've ever seen him...  so yeah  try again

if you want to focus on pve more than pvp...  maybe pick up Shin Isshin and Sexy Yourichi...  the pair should be close to 11k total and together make a very solid pve assaulter line in the price range

Oh yes the save and grace for White Ichigo is the 25% Damage rate
I forget you can obtain Cute Orihime for free in soul cultivation to make up for spending 10k on an outdated partner just for an extra 25% damage rate. And to say White will rival Berserk Renji in damage, get out Rofl

Why would Chiko tell another better Assaulter when they are already named, just because it is already named you do not go and choose another one or whoever is next in line for best, if they are bad they are bad and will not be named, all is said and done, that means they do not need your beloved irrelevant input.

Please stick to being a meme and not giving advice, your advice is actually "outdated" and "irrelevant" compared to the person whom you so love and talk about so much that is considered my bf. You thought so 1 sided about this White suggestion and did not even think about other partners who could help Renji in boosted damage or his Pvp. Leave the advice to the ever so serious Starrk loving Zento or people that actually do help and help good, there was a reason there was a thread made on you and not any other person.

its not hard really, in the 12-15k gold range its between brenji and koga, best event for them imo is ultra hero were u only top 12-15k and get to keep that gold and use it in another event, brenji for pve is still the best assaulter except the newer and more twice hes price, but for a yellow type hes just insane, and in pvp he aint bad either, high dmg output and hes death mod still good.
koga aswell is good and much faster than brenji, has fury deduction which is still helpfull, chaos on suports and fury regen + mutilate mod
if u can do 12k top, then think what u wanna focus more, pvp or pve, i whould say pve so brenji should be the choice

first, death mod for pvp can be helpful...  or could be if Hiki wasn't so commonplace making his death mod null in void most fights I've ever seen
Void?  what a joke...  unless you are running someone like Muken, Void isn't worth even hitting if you don't get top 10...   last void i made less than 15M silver for an hour of my time...  not worth it IMO  not for me anyway...  hit once for the joining prize and if I can't keep top 8, I leave...  plus Renji is 280% on 2 where his biggest boost (crit) is null in void (haha, see what I did there?) while white Ichi is 180% on 5, which if my math serves right, is more damage all but one day of the month, plus his bonus (that massive +25% damage rate) can and will boost the rest of your middle row's damage as white Ichi is fairly fast it won't be tough to have him your fastest assaulter most probably, lol..

missed a point here i found when reading...

Cute Orihime does give a boost to damage rate...  a 12% boost,  plus main has a skill that gives a 15% boost...  but White Ichi's is a massive 25%...  if you use Cute Orihime it will be less than ideal, but with White Ichi and say maybe a Shin Isshin, Shinso in the back row, you don't need cute orihime as everyone regens own fury...  wouldn't need Shinso either but he can help with a cheap T1...   anyway, I"m off track...  you get the point

B Renji is a beautiful assaulter in many ways and he would not be a bad decision in most cases, don't get that wrong, I'm not saying that White Ichi is better, I'm putting him on par with if built right in the right team...   why do you keep getting butthurt just because I look at things different from you?   someone you dislike took my advice and pushed you down in arena or something bro?

and that thread was made about me and another person, lol  who's advice is nowhere around mine, lol  dude, it's like you don't even look at things for yourself, you just hear someone you respect say something and take it as gold and the only advice that could ever work, lol

I will say again, why obtain White and waste gold on him for a 25% Damage boost when instead can get a better partner that is Renji + Orihime? You think too much of this 25% damage boost that it will make up for no Renji and Cute together Rofl

why waste a support spot when you can easily max block rate and so many assaulters regen 100 fury on self?  she's a huge wasted spot other than her 12% damage rate if you don't need the block or fury gain...

put a Retsu Unohana back there, or Hikifune, basicly anyone in the game will do more than cute does at that point, even decent tavern partners, lol

like I said, more than one way around any problem...

b renji is a great choice, so is white Ichi

Koga is much better than both but 15k usually

Shin Isshin is for sure lower class than any of them but you can get him at your level for 5k gold total, paid out slowly over time, with free weeks thrown in from KTF, in fact, with a few decent topups you could get him totally free with a little work, and isshin would boost any other assaulters put with him, plus his void in PVP is great if you get him fast enough...  most new partners are not immune to void...  not many partners period are immune to it in fact....  he's lower class but a good team player and much cheaper....  just to get a good flame from them, lol

Did you read the thread? Level 88, and you expect them to have a stacked enough White in order to deal more damage than Berserk Renji with full block? Not waste of a support spot at all for their level, nice going thinking in their perspective. White does not regen 100 fury and Renji does

They already have a Hikifune. Now suggest once more why White is better than the guaranteed damage dealing Renji. I must wonder why nobody uses him compare to Renji. Maybe think long term of not answer the thread that has already been answered, can you not admit things Lol

you are right about white, not sure why I was thinking he regens own fury by 100...  maybe cause someone threw out koga and i dunno, anyway, yeah, only 35 fury on self, check one b renji (who again, I never said was a bad choice, just not the only one with any merit)  you have no idea what they have or have not stacked...  I'm still amazed that you are steadfast that white ichi has no merit, lol   such a shallow player it's unbelievable...

death mod for pvp, I touched there...  with hikifune being everywhere and easy to T1 these days, if she skills first and clear b renji (not uncommon to happen) it completely negates his death mod in pvp...  in void, it's good, but still will do shit damage for all but the strongest of the strong from insane def boost, thus the AOE attack will draw more damage than b renji's attack, while b renji does not boost anyone as crit doesn't work in void, yet white ichi (after dealing much more damage from skill) will boost the rest of your middle row's damage rate by 25%, vs b renji's damage dealt on back row (if there is any left if i'm honest)...  based on how your team is built, you could easily get much more damage from W Ichi...  team him with maybe a Muken (talking of later game) to give Muken's first hit that +25% damage rate...   this is all based on dying first round as that's when I die, even my hard stacked, 2M BP TSI dies at that first blocked hit, and if my vang with a 400k phy def dies from one blocked phy hit, I'm guessing this guy won't be tanking them any time soon...  know what I mean?  yeah...


is b renji a good choice?  hell yeah
is white ichi a good choice?  hell yeah

will they both play the same?  nope
will each be better than the other in different situations?  of course

best best?  get both, or Yhwach, B Yamma, hell, cheat for Muken, I don't care...  b renji isn't the best assaulter in the game, so the best option would be to tell him to save it till he has 50k to spend on whoever the top dog is at that point, right?  or is less that the strongest advice you could give only wrong when someone else does it?

I just say why have to mention White any way, is nothing compare to Renji or Koga, no need to waste gold on White especially if only argument is 25% damage rate which is easy achievable or made up for with Koga and Renji alone
Better option > Unique experience in this case

If the best assaulters are already mentioned, no need for your input for a different, worse answer. I did not say White has no merit but compare to already mentioned options, why bother is not worth it

All I ever say is no need to say White as a suggestion for the team he has and the level, he is not a partner to keep late game by lacking very much and certainly not help being gold partner too. I will ask again, if is so good with how much potential he has, why is he not everywhere or seen a lot more in formations?

You point out 1 counter that is Hikifune for Renji but no counter for White be fair Lol he is gold and now lacking up to date. Reason I "attack" you in first place for White comment is saying other players give outdated and irrelevant advice, yet suggesting White is exactly doing that

I only have hiki as a counter as she is everywhere now...  like how tensa is everywhere...
and no, you have followed me and attacked me for weeks now...  white is a viable suggestion, you don't like to see cookie cutter teams?  fucking suggest other partners when people ask bro, it's easy as fuck, think outside the box, find good uses for different partners (almost no partner in this game is total garbage and most of them can be an all star on your team if you build for it...  I don't care how many teams he's on, I've seen good ones, I can look at the partner and see he's got potential...  
and for the counter to white, for sure he's got counters, I mentioned Isshin earlier...  but to be fair, any good counter to white Ichi will also counter B Renji...  or any counters I can think of

if white was still 30k gold or more, yeah, he'd be outdated, but since his price dropped so hard, he has again become relevant IMO

he is not a 30k partner anymore, but I find he fits nicely in the 10k range   Shinso is old, but still very relivent, TSI is old but still very solid   old does not mean useless   now telling someone to stack dodge on a ryukken is old and irrelevant and a good way to loose late game hard, telling someone that Starrk is the best vang in the game is old and irrelevant, and will hurt someone end game...  telling someone to get white ichi is a good investment if you don't plan to top up big...  not in my opinion, and you haven't convinced me of anything except b renji is a good assaulter (which I knew he was before and never even tried to suggest othewise) and that you are an asshole (again, knew it before)  but white Ichi IS a good assaulter, probably one of the best investments in the game if you get him right
(to clarify, by best investment, I"m refering to you can easily get him totally free without too much time or effort (6 months with 0 gold and 0 luck invested I belive) and in that repeatable free category, I'm quite sure White Ichi is the strongest assaulter that fits there in the game)

i think u are a bit wrong, yama doesnt come close to how tanky and harder hittin white can be, even tho yama has that 25% burn, but on the asauchi point i couldnt agree more with you. if asauchi werent an option, then whichi wins hands down yama

Good idea to save it for now.  Even though Z.Renji isn't very good Senju+Hiki are still a very good combo for both pvp/pve.  I'd just consider given the state of UBP it's not impossible for assaulters like Koga, B.Renji, the long over due Mugetsu, etc. to pop up eventually.  If lucky, the next UBP in 2-3 months should hopefully be an Assault or Zan.
Now I don't know your budget/patience and I hate to say "top up more," but as suggested you could charge $15 during KTF to get B.Renji for a little less than 12k, who again is a very solid Assault until, dare I say it, Muken.  However, if you decide to tough it out until a UBP Assaulter, you could try to bank gold through bankai power (only if they keep giving top up cards for free...and there are enough reliable players in your realm...though alts are a thing), and come this time next year you could hopefully spend for a 30k Assault or Support of your choosing...or Jakka depending on the October/Thanksgiving/Christmas events, and release of newer characters/zan hopefully driving current ones down in price a bit.

Keep in mind you can still rent Shin Isshin for 2 weeks for free by the end of KTF.  He's no B.Renji and very outdated, but minus exclusives still outperforms all tavern assaults imo for those two weeks.  That being said given your team composition and timing of next KTF and UBP you can probably make better use of other resources there.  As other comments have stated, at the end of the day it's your money and there are good and not as good advices, but it comes down to you.

If you don't plan on topping up again or very little (Monthly shini agent if you're lazy like a lot of us), it's probably best to wait for October, November, or December seasonal events for spending.  Just ask on forums if you have enough gold for your chosen partner.  Good Luck
