Ok, I was wondering, what character type you started with or you prefer. When you start the game, you can ONLY choose between 3 types, Ghost blade, Spirit blade and Kido. I assume you already know what pros and cons has every type already. As far as I am concerned, I will probably choose Kido because I like the damage it deals, but I also tried a Ghost blade on another server.  I would like to hear other opinions though, so.....

Well I started with a ghost blade, but now I am using kido, which I personally find better than ghost blade, but this is just my opinion.

I have a Kido on an US server and a Ghost blade on an EU server. I find it difficult to choose between those two as one deals a lot of damage but lacks defence and the other has defence, but the damage is not so awesome as a Kido user. Of course that also depends on how you equip your main, but I am only talking about the basic talent of those two types

P.S. You said you prefer Kido, but I can see your vote for Ghost

I'm using G.blade now, but i think kido will be the best choice since most of ppl r using G.blade witch sux at S.def....(+ most of the formations is usually Ghost or Spirit blade)

Well, no harm done, I also mentioned in the first sentence for people to vote for which char they first used   I wasn't really too clear, but I thought there are some people that don't have any type they prefer so it won't be a problem for them to vote for the char they started with. I am curious how this poll will look like after some votes, but I also prefer to hear some opinions. Why they like a type, what they choosed at first, if they are dissapointed by what they choosed etc

Yeah, I agree, you can probably say that Kido kills better Ghost/Spirit. If you invest a little in Kido's defence, you will be a badass Kido user

I noticed that most people roll with Kido (I'm Ghost Blade) and they were hard in the earlier stages of the game. These days though, once their vanguard is down their main go down as easy as their other partners. Also stacking wisdom + block on main and vanguard counters them hard. I would say all 3 are equal and Spirit Blade is underrated by most.

Personally I'd prefer to be a SHINIGAMI, with an ICE TYPE ZANPAKOU, and a mastery of BAKUDO. But this is just another mass produced web-rpg that sheep are willing to pay for just because it has thier favorite show on the title, and I can't have nice things cause the masses pay for crap and are okay with it, which shows companies that it's ok to produce crap cause people will buy it.

Short explanation on why Kido main is great to start with but sucks later on. > Later you will have Attack All skill. Supports have high Kido defense. The big issue here is that your Kido attack all will barely dmg supports, whereas a ghost blade / soul blade will destroy the opponent supports. Moreover to have a balanced damage team you will need to run a 1-3-1 to have 2 physical and 2 Kido attackers.

Yes Kido is great at start due to lack in Kido defence but later on it becomes a liability ;-)

well for me does not matter what character you use this game is all about agi and damage IMO once your main character got the 10th skill it would be all about AGI and DAMAGE.. who goes at first turn would Kill the opponents team

It does matter it doesn't matter if your quincy or ghost blade I believe since they are both physical and not much difference from what I understand * I dunno why they would make 2 characters basically the same *

but it all depends on what you want to do in pvp kill all the supports who are weak to physical damage, or take out the assaults / vg's who are weaker to kido damage.

that's why I went for ghost blade, once you get the tenth skill you basically one-shot support and do huge damage to kido main whilst a kido main can only screw over the assaulter line and even then it would be better to use a attack assaulter skill because they have better buffs with only 10% damage difference which is easy to fix by levelling up one of the skills.

as for why they have the ghost and spirit blade be almost exactly the same I don't know, they could have done any thing, even make it so that spirit blade has worse physical stats but also has better strategy stats than the ghost blade to give the game a more balanced character rather than four different skins for the same character

I've heard spirit blades the quincy class had lower stats then someone the same as him in ghost blade but I don't know if thats true or not, but either way yeah they should of made it a mix.. or something or that ghost blade got higher stamina while spirit blade got higher physical

yeah about the quincy ignore that. the guy that posted that is an idiot who insults everyone and always complains about high VIP's. i'm pretty sure he's been reported at least once to support.

Yeah I thought so, but it seems most people go ghost blade or kido I am kido myself its not too bad, just need extra stamina stones

I'm actually kinda ashamed to admit I also chose the ghost blade because of it's awesome skill animation, the others look good as well but I just like the ghost blade one the most

who dies.. so yeah.. * cough * that works out for him doesn't it, but you see kido espada's don't need swords they launch giant balls of death and destruction without even needing to slash a sword or anything * also has cooler sound effects * and kido male has a friggin katana while ghost blade has some chipped ass blade that is too big to even swing around and is so in-efficient* I don't mind the females have a small dagger, just shows bigger isn't always better they don't need a weapon to blow you to small, burnt pieces ;)

bigger isn't better p⁓lease have you SEEN kenpachi's shikai that thing is probably the best shikai so far and it makes the ghost blade sword look like a tooth pick, never mind the kido sword. And huge pyro techniques beats your rubbish little ball of death any day

Anyways people say its ghost blade that is the better class because they can one shot the enemy supports, while kido mains have trouble one-shotting them because of the high default strategy def "hint, hint, supports use WIS as main stat" .

Otherwise there is no difference, a well geared kido main will probably 1-2 shot a Ghost blade main and vice-versa, in the end, it doesn't matter what you play, but matters how well geared you are and how high your BP is.

I've been using kido and ghost blade characters reaching 230k bp lvl 75
And i choose ghost blade over kido..Just for this poll
Because ghost bladers can 1 hit the supporters
Yet my main is a kido character.. because it has a cooler skill effects..
And i like ulquiorra over a random ghost blade character
P.S. Ghost bladers can be countered by a kido user if u know what you are doing

i like them both kido has nice looking specials however i notice kido does extra damage to ghost blade and same the other way round.

since alot are strength base i can beat them even if they faster then me but i have high defense against strength just kido will hurt me alot however i can still one shot the supports. i guess i should get some wisdom stones

I regret to get the kido guy because all the supports are kidos and i like supports, but i have to make a 1-3-1 team because i need Str guys. If i make 1-1-3 i would hava a team with 1 Str and 4 Wis

I voted Spirit blade because I run a 1-2-2 and will always already have 2 ghost blades, and 2 kido weapons, so it will be easier for me to get materials to forge weapons for my main.  don't need to swap them out because he stays in all the time!!

Spirit blade and Ghost blade are the same if you look at the stats.
Kido class is good for early levels when it comes to decimate the enemy vanguard's hp because you wont have the stones and the needed amount of strategy def.
The good thing about Spirit and Ghost Blade class is tho that they can one-shot the enemy Supporter (remember, more WISDOM means more STRATEGY ATK AND DEF!!) when u get Destroy the World skill.
Kido class is, without a clue, also strong at higher levels but has less one-hit potentional.
It also depends on your formation, e.g. you are going for 2-2-1 and you are a kido class u need many of the WISDOM stones.
If you wanna go for 1-3-1 and you are either Spirit or Ghost blade you will need waaaay too many strength stones.

I feel this is simply a choice based on how your going to set up a team. We all don't know where we are going with our team, but some knew from the start.
There are the 3 choices(kido, spirit, and ghost) but spirit and ghost are both strength base while kido is the only wisdom base. So I always figured a kido has to deal with both of the others opposite damage while the strength has to only deal with kido, due to the other being a strength type just the same.

So ghost can fend off other ghost and spirit while a kido can't. All though that is true, it's a double edge sword cause as much as they can take hits from to others, it also means there hits can be more effective against the other 2 types. But the ratio of strength vs kido is 2 to 1.

But all in all I believe a kido is better. (I have a ghost) The reson being that most of your fast partners are kido and first hits mean a lot. so while your building kido for your partners to hit hard you build it for your main as well. Where with a strength you have to build the kido and then still work on the strength as well for your main.

well i m a kido user and while the damage is nyc im like a glass cannon. what one can do is got g.blade n get + str stones. while in the accecsory ( i probably killed the spelling) u can up the intel so to raise ur magic def. so what im getting at is with ths strat u can up the def greatly but comprmise on the damage. Hope that was useful!!!

To be completely honest, every time I've ever played, its been as a Spirit Blade for the simple fact that I've heard its the worst to play since most partners are either kido or g.blades, and you'd have a harder time trading gear and such or something like that. But eh, I think I'm doing well enough for being f2p and such as the class.
