Which do you think would be better for PVE and why. Before you argue price both are 8k points(12k gold) in turntable right now. the team i plan on making is retsu unohana, shinso, isshin, main, and 1 of the above assaulters. i had planned on renji because he was cheaper, but white ichi's price drop has got me thinking.

i cant believe you are questioning berserk over white ichi
berserk will literally skill 280% growth every round and grant every single partner in your team 50% bonus critical damage imagine that shit in pve? thats a lot of damage... compared to what little white ichi can bring your team as a whole..
dont forget berserks mods which makes his crits hit even more..

renji only gives 20% crit dmg, ichi gives 25% dmg. that is why im questioning it

50% to all allies each and every single turnwhite ichi only helps assaulters berserk helps everyone

I'm currently running Gin / Uno / Brenji / Isshin and main +9th in PVE, damage is pretty good but you're missing a lot of survivability without CSB Ken in Ryoka.

Brenji - ES.
CSB Ken - after a certain wave in Ryoka.

Best is to switch Ken halfway during Ryoka but I'm too lazy for that

for ES brenji will be dishing out more damage along with your team with his 50% crit dmg buff per turn and he skills 280% + crit if u get crits a turn since he regens 100 fury each turn overall he will be dishing out way more damage alone than kenny

in a way yes since csb ken induces a -75% break defence debuff on the enemy so youl block that much more while dishing out damage back by blocking
although imo if you can get nozarashi upgraded swp kenny then he is better

be.renji no doubt. he would give you more damage than w.ichigo. and like others said you can swap them for csb kenny for survivability if you have the time to do so.

both gives 60% crit damage to main via bond, be.renji gives 50%, so that means 110% crit damage to main(someone correct me if i am wrong here), and if you can get ur assaulters to 90%+ crit, then that would be heavy damage. plus if isshin gets to skill every 5 rounds that means be.renji would skill 2 times per round ie 10 times in total. something w.ichigo wouldn't be able to do.

PS- be.renji will help you in getting bond stage 9 lvl 3 too [defeat in 2 rounds]

If i had the option i would go for be.renji as my ES/ryoka assaulter[since u have isshin] and would hire w.ichigo ONLY if i need certain bond attributes
