If i top up 1k in one go will the 200g reward stack or do i have to top-up 200x5?

I think if you do 1k single top up, you'll hit the 800 gold top up reward and not the 200. I topped up 4k gold single top up and only got the 4k reward, not the ones before. Hope this gives you some more information.

So based on this, maybe, 5 x 200 top ups should give you 5 x the 200 top up rewards. But I haven't tested it.
