Scenario as it stands; I've played in 4 other servers (1being my main) but they all end up going dead with 2 weeks all for the same vocalized reason - 'spenders.' I'm just now leaving EU-320 because someone showed up no more than 1 day ago, dropped at least 600 dollars, bought a winning SS-SSS team. Same scenario for the last 2 I attempted. Umm... Is this how it goes for every other server?! The guy/gal showed up 2 days ago (thank god), but the fun quickly ended today. US 261, I left back in early Jan, ended with the spender ruling all normal events (Protect S.,Ryoka, Evil Sp., Guild W.). Left nothing much for anyone else to grind and get anywhere. The one before that ended the same way.

Does this happen in every single server?! I've been seeking good beginner competition for a while; I can put up with someone spending 50-100, but dropping enough for an entire SS-SSS team within 1 week... What'sthe point of me staying?! Better question: What's the point of me visiting anew server if this is the norm for all new servers? Is there a balance I'm not seeing?

Well, it's expected on new servers, there's no point joining an old server and start there, where the competition are people who have played for years, so they all start at a new one
Just like you here! You're not the only one if you're also thinking to start in a new place lol

Always best to start new, no competition around you, so you can freely spend as much as you want and upgrade to your max

So yes, if you're really that dedicated to starting on a new server, keep going until there is a server where everyone on there doesn't realise there is literally 0 competition around them, so they are free to top up
But if you are going to join a new server, you're also going to have to do just that, become no.1 right from the start, unfortunately ^^

yes it's quite annoying, but there's alot more people with the same minds out there as you for this, take note, 7 billion people, bound to be at least 1 other with the same thought process towards this game as you. You could just start at an old, inactive server, just about the same thing really, expect the people that are strong are afk, but yes, they're already strong, so you'll HAVE to take them out 1 day ^^

Who says I'm spending? Hopeless, yes, but a friendly population (My first server). That kind of outweighs a server on the verge of death. Equally, I don't see anymore reason(s) to join a server with the number 1 player rocking SSS's within the 1st week. I'm not spending that type of cash, so no point in me staying in it if I'm not getting what I want out of it. If that is the norm then joining a new server is pointless for me. Then, again, maybe I'm not seeing the balance in joining a new server with high spenders.

((Ah, MY error: my first server is still active but I don't spend in it anymore. Decent small pop with a sturdy enough ladder to climb. (EU 42 is my main). The others I've left for reasons already listed.))

That's actually an interesting idea. I'd kind of like to see how strong the OG's are.

If you are not willing to spend at least to get VIP4 for the skip battles, then Evil Spirits and Ryoka are not going to be kind to you.  They are the 2 largest sources of xp.  I'm not sure what you want if you don't want to spend but want to be #1.  I've been #1 in my CSB for a while and can say it is possible to have a weak team with good partners.  There are some teams that I've see in CSB that almost get wiped just from my zanpakuto attacking that have the red partners you are talking about.

Eventually even the best teams will hit a point where they can no longer mutilate the ES in a short time.  Right after the server merge 2 months ago the 3 ES were dying in about 5 minutes total.  It has now got to the point where it takes 15 or more minutes.  If the #2 doesn't show up then I can stretch it longer for the others by not skipping battles on the last ES.  Now if you get a on server with someone that uses coupons to revive faster then there isn't much you can do.

There are some servers that don't have big spenders like the one my alt is on.  The #1 there only has Kirinji for red partners.  Eventually that server will merge into the one my main is on and that person that is #1 there will probably drop to #5 or lower.

Took me 1 year to work up to Vip4 on my main server (out of caution). Best casual play there is for this game, and Kir can be easily handled with speed and control/silence. I'm fine with spending and having others spend, I'm just not going to spend much more and stick around when people push 500+ to basically shut down hopes of making it to Numba 1. Watching all the Ryoka loot go to one person every 15-30 seconds because he's the only one who can do the damage... Kills it for me.

At least you're considerate enough to do the things you do for others.

Maybe what I'm looking for is unrealistic for this type of game... I want to see healthy competition bertween all players but I'm not dropping a car payment to stay in the fight. Obviously there are people with that kind of money so... I guess I'm just screwed when it comes to new servers?

It shouldn't be a problem for Ryoka unless you have over 5 people that can 1-hit kill the Ryoka. If you can't kill the Ryoka in 1 hit, the problem is your team is too weak for the rounds you are dying in. My main's server has about 5-6 people that can stay going until about round 40, then after that only my team and the #2 can keep going without dying.

My alt is too weak to kill the Ryoka, but it is still a good source of xp when I actually do the event. I don't think my alt has ever killed one. My main hasn't reached a round that she couldn't 1-hit the Ryoka.

I speak of brand new servers. I'm doing 'okay' where I'm at in my oldie, the new one's I can't seem to feel inspired enough to stick around in.

Eh, maybe I'll just server surf until I find what I'm looking for. Golden egg gotta be out there, somewhere!

If you want to start on a new server, it would probably be best to wait for an event cycle that is really bad.  The current cycle has great rebates when mixed with Ultra Hero, Bankai Power and Shinigami Fund.  So making a good team with the current event cycle is going to easier with all the gold and coupons you get back from just topping up.

It is not too uncommon for someone to top up with a good to great team then stop playing.  The server my alt is on had 2 people that had mostly red partners that just stopped playing.  At that time my main was about 95(now 142) and the number 1 and 2 were level 91 and 77(they are still the same levels).  The number 3 on my main's server also has great partners plus Katen, and he rarely logs in.  The previous #1 in our CSB also stopped playing about a month ago.

I think the best thing would be to have realistic goals with the server and your team.  I still like using my alt, but I don't expect it to be #1 since I wont top up as much as I did for my main.  There are some F2P players that have been playing for a long time, it just requires a lot more patience.

Yeah, learned a fraction of patience with my main as well. Building the proper team to take on others above me (spenders) in my main server is... fun. Well, the planning is fun. Feels good to know that 1 Extra Round will net me a win against 3 players in front of me, though it's a rare occurrence.

There are weak csb like mine ...one guy got oetsu and
now he is first just like that so if you want to be first
its going to be easy in mine csb and in top 10 there is
1 oetsu and thats all no hikifune only kirinjis

they'll belong in the first 50 odd servers in the EU/US regions

most are afk, and the special one or 2 in each server are still there, but may not even be topping up, just actively playing freely or simply afk

it is indeed cool to see them though, won't lie about that haha ^^

If you want to be able compete from the start at low VIP i'd recomend top up to vip 4 on first day and get ya Kirinji + Shinigami agent. He's worthless for an SSS partner, but still his growth will help ya 1 shot ryokas and do decent damage on spirit. Then get ya Kisuke + Ikkaku from tavern as fast as you can. On my first server i was ahead of an vip8 player in pve events. Altrough back then all event partners were a loot less hardcore compared to current crazy stuff so it was easier to compete for low vips.
