How much more defense does Gerard have than Kukaku? (not including his 4th mod)

I know he just came out but someone gotta know if he's worth the change. I need a vanguard that got double the defense of Kukaku's full potential, might seem like a stretch but why not.

Thoughts would be appreciated.

newer isn't always better but in this case he may as well be :p

Immunity to mutilate is great though.

Gerard is God of liverpool

He is good than Kukaku in some device

Gerard skill is + Atk and Def so deal dmg to all enemy but not heal 20% of HP.while
Kukaku is only Ass and Sup "but" get Heal 20% Hp and get Damage Rate and Avoid Injury Rate

Kukaku keep 100% kido def to ally. but
Gurard is 40% Defense for allies

Kukaku when she HP lower then 50%, recover 20% of max HP. while
Gerard need to 10% or less to heal but heal 70% of max HP

Kukaku Every 25% HP lose, increase DEF by 20%. But
Gerard Every time being attacked, add 5% Defense for self and it's stack

when get full mod gerard
- have 20% Extra Block Rate
- Stun (a random enemy when being attacked)
- Dying skill
- Immune Mutilate
gerard have this but kukaku isn't

so when battle with Muken Aizen will be

If choose Kukaku only Kukaku will survive.
If she not then lose

If choose Gerard Gerard will counter some attack and random stun some enemy partner (likely stun main)
He will die but [hero never die] all ally will get heal and some buff when he dying
If team can't stand At all and only Gerard survive you "have chance" to lose

I only need the vanguard to survive, and I really do not care about block that much.

I wrote that I needed a vanguard that got double the defense of Kukaku's full potential, meaning he/she gotta have over 1.8m+ defense at max. And i'm not talking about when in battle :p

Over a long fight Gerard would have higher def, not sure about pre-battle yet. A few big things going from her is losing out on the -25% atk debuff when hit and his healing mod will be harder to trigger since he needs to drop below 10% without dying.

Break the game eh? Muken have already broken the game. And that 5% extra defense after he's hit won't matter when Muken increases his attack by 100% each round, over 5 turns.

Well the problem is he won't have enough defense to tank Muken which is the same with Kukaku she survives until Jakka's 150% defense buff goes away, then it's over. Muken is really way too powerful and it's quite wierd that he's a CSB partner considering everyone can get him :p

I think Gerard would be more effective in VR taking many hits than in PvP. His skill would overwrite the defense buff from RJ. Only exception being immune to mutilate. I wish Mayuri had that gain 5% defense mod after being hit. He would have +500% defense by the time VR ends.

Hmm well isn't that a lost cause though? Since Kukaku already tank hits from VR, they really can't damage her, I don't even need Jakka's defense buff to survive 20 rounds with her, my other partners on the other hand dies in 1 hit except Yhwach.

It's Hayase's Muken, plus i'm not gonna be faster than Hayase anytime soon since I don't have a 140 set.

Aizen's zanpakuto didn't really get my attention well that's until the skill is revealed.

True that, but I really don't do VR anymore it ends in 20/30 minutes. I also play on 3 accounts during Ryoka and VR before, for me it gets pretty boring sitting infront of the screen for like 30 minutes doing nothing but clicking on some spawn points, an auto-attack option would be great to have.

so who do you need to outspeed that daiguren toshirou wont?

Hayase's Raijin which has over 2m speed, I wouldn't be faster even if I had Daiguren since I do not have a 140 set.

i think the only way u can beat hayase is to let bankai kenpa to die and your yhwach with good att and katen buff to go before his muken but without haschwath his raijin will be problem and he always can change so its only optional way

I do not have Bankai Kenpachi so that is not an option. Hayase uses both Raijin an Haschwalth.

How can he block you when he's first in CSB

Is there another player with the name Hayase in the US servers? As for EU I could beat him before he got Muken.

valkyrie is the last vanguard in game, combine with new zanp katen more hp and more heal, only can die if use rein skill, well most vang use anti rein, i hope dev change his last mod.. to every attack increase hp 5%

Newest yes, last vanguard? highly doubt it. I think you meant to write Kyoka Suigetsu, Katen is old and only gives 40% HP to vanguards.

Oh I have him already had him for a few weeks? I don't really remember when I got him. I only use him for Ryoka along side Yhwach.

Gerard have more Def than kukaku but not in double

maybe If Kukaku have 100 def
Gerard will have 125 def like this

If [only Gerard without Def mod 40% Def and Kakuku in FULL POTENTIAL]
Kukaku is better in Def than Gerard

Including both in FULL POTENTIAL
Kukaku still better in Def and heal than Gerard
In start of battle too

If in long fight or have Healer or for strategy Gerard is better

He is For team not "One man Army" like TSI
