whats the point of buying partners if the partners in the tavern can scale as high as them? unless the skills are just that much more superior ?

Was thinking of going for a nozaroshi for vanguard but wouldnt hallow ichigo and stark scale higher? makes me think the special war powers arent worth it but idk im a noob o3o

swp are in general better b/c of skill and mod. noza is way better than any tavern partner you can get. especially when you can mod him and get his block bond.

Honestly depends on a character by character basis rather than one is better than the other.

Soo Zabimaru=He is sadly just very bad
Panthera=Great PVE Partner but with the correct setup Uryu and Ikkaku can outclass him
Shin daiguren tosh=outclassed by harribel and gin
Nell=Her skill is just not worth it since dodge is dead and kisuke is the better fury builder and C orihime the better buffer
Ulqiora=Weaker than yama but better than most tavern assaulter in PVP and in PVE tavern assaulters are better
Noza=Better than H ichigo if fully upgraded and stacked otherwise with little investment h ichigo does the job of tanking better
Ultima=Amazing crowd control better than the folks in tavern

It just depends on what you need as for the Noza Option the thing is he is a partner made for stack you can add him to your team and try to make him a partner for tank but no thats not how he works Hyorin,RJ or kyoka as well as have his block maxxed while stacked otherwise H ichigo is the better Wall.

with tavern upgrade is the growth are high but the base stats are terribly low and unless you are in the lvl 110 tavern H ichigo,Uryu and Aizen you really can not make use of those growths effectively so Do remember that.

Overall Red Event Partners(Beside the shitty ones) outclass both of these options and to add one more point it depends on what you need in your form a partner can be good but unless you have a form to fit him with they will fail

dang thats kinda messed up that even with those stats they still suck guess ill just finish my cultivation bar and get yamato I have to many supports and shunsei sucks most people have way more than 100 fury e_e

Your stupid if you think that about noza. he's even better then bankai ken.

I never said noza is bad just probally used the wrong words.
What i meant to say is .If you want a Vanguard that you can run with little investment and to tank hits keeping you team safe like most ppl do H ichigo is better in that regard.Noza has a completely different function from other vans and that is he is mostly a PVE damage dealing van and this part is necessary and if you want to run him in PVP with anything that does not support vanguard(Hyorin(Specially this one),Ryujin ,KS or senbon) He wont be half as effective as you want or hope for him to be and in most cases without investment will fall to people with equal battle power to you.
And Banken and Noza dont even have the same function, Noza is a van whos job is to deal damage on his own and if you fully stack him in attack power he will do that.Banken is also a PVE Van but he is more so of a full team buffer with his auras and Skill he boosts damage of your other partner in formation.
