all calculations are correct, if kokuto buff will work would be 130% atk buff, and 40% buff for dmg rate.
why does hvi hit 5?

again u r just looking at the problem from one side and its by comparing urself to others while u're lacking in what they have which is experience they have years of it
while u just started 6months ago these guys knew what they wanted from lv1 ofc u cant compete with them what u can do tho is sit tight watch them learn and stack till u figure out a way around it
and back to void topic
ur form is already solid it just needs stacking but if it's more dmg u want u can focus on sth other than reducing void def like focusing on increasing hvi dmg some more for example kokuto isnt the only one that adds dmg to hvi there are other partners that could help u do that and they r free like N.Isane and shy nemu so maybe start saving vit to get these partners
and each 1k of stat does matter cuz like deemen said once in battle it get increased thanks to buffs and growth rates
but yeah basically like i said by the time u'll get there with the help of ppl that have similar form to urs or any1 with experience and STACKING!!

The problem is, you are mixing up PvE with your PvP strategy. Just keep focusing on stuff that will make you stronger. Don't look down on bonds and stuff, you farm WHATEVER you could to make your partner stronger. Don't be like, oh pfft only 3k physical atk blah blah blah.... Bond stuff goes by %, the stronger base your partner have, they stronger the bond attribute will be. The only reason why Stern is doing more is because of HVI bug, which I am pushing to fix. That's it. You are only 6 months in, of course you can't compare with other high VIPs that played for years, stop looking at others and focus on yourself. You can talk to Super Saiyan and get a few tips off him, he has only been playing for a year and become super strong. The trick really comes down to how you spend your gold, and how good you are to take advantage of the event.

But,
Stern users have 1.2m def on void. Stern=40k gold and 1 empy place in formation, my HVI+Kokuto=80k? and Stern alone deals more dmg? So, what should I do, dismiss my hvi and buy stern just for void?
The problem isn't that I end on 5-6, the problem is that people from my server end on 2 and 3, I can't afford to lose every void to them.
I'm 1 on ryoka/ES, why shouldn't I be the first from our server in void too? Because Kokuto's buff doesn't work?
I don't get what's wrong about a -def strat, I got a guy on my server has 190% halo def, 150% buff.
Ofc I will consider going for a -DEF strategy. As my damage is scaling, his def scale too. Making your enemies weaker is a strat that makes you stronger.
Adding a 12 str stone instead of an 11 will not make my HVI have 2m atk, he will get barely 20k. and I'm missing 2 lvl 12. Exclusives? Very expensive and hard to farm, bonds.. wtf, not even consider this topic, spending 20k bond frags for 3k phy atk.
Last void I should've hit 2mil on every enemy on void. 2x5=10m? aid rate made me hit barely 2 as a whole
I'm 6 months into this game, I'm not comparing with people that play for year.
People from older servers got a lot from VOID and I struggle to even get few millions dmg.

honestly our realm is still young and there's time to grow and if u r doing enuf dmg to get max silver rewards and be in top10 u should honestly be quite content with that and just try to remain in ur rank while slowly working with the resources u get from void to become stronger
u should take the example that was made of all of those sdt abusers already (myself included lol)
and no it doesnt work even if it works it would be hard to abuse since u cant tank a single hit
so just work with what deemen said u'll get to the top...eventually.
