[Guide] New Hogu Function Guide and Tips

This is the part of forum where most visit so I post it here. I hope this will guide everyone before they messed up their hogu.

First, you need to unequip your current Hogu, it has to be Tier 8+ to Condense the Spirit and turn it into Spirit Essence.


After that, you will use those Spirit Essence to Forge one of the Hogu's.



After that you can simply equip the new Hogu into your partner.

You can upgrade your hogu into higher Tier and higher Level. 1 Tier has 10 Levels. Max @ Tier 10 Level 10.



As you can see, you also need Spirit Essence to upgrade your hogu.

Here are some tips for New Hogu:

1. Only RED Partners and above can equip them.


2. Tier 8 or above can be inherit.


3. Condense Higher Tier Hogu gives more Spirit Essence.


4. Obtain and upgrade Spirit Seal and Spirit Building Hogu for Assaulters and VG.


5. Obtain and upgrade Spirit Crest and Spirit Wing Steps Hogu for Supporters.


6. 4 of the Same Tier Hogu will give extra bonus (break def and crit rate).


7. Extra bonus still, unfortunately, wont breakthrough 90% limit.


8. DO NOT FOCUS ON 1 HOGU, must be in pair if you want maximum result. But if you can only upgrade to 1 hogu, make it Spirit Building, as it's the only one that base stats surpass Tier 13 Max stats.


9. 4x Tier 1 Level 9 Hogu (Spirit Seal, Wing Step, Crest, Building) = Max Tier 13 Hogu Stats - ish..



10. if you just condense your hogu talisman and brand new hogu together = max the hogu first then condense?

Can Devs fix this pic 1 pic 2 many pple think that it will go in that slot, and get rid off arts in  ...

I already asked them to change it, but they said it works just the same, and said no for changing their spots.

Yes, if you can get all 4 hogu, and able to upgrade it to tier 0 lvl 9, it gives the same stats as a tier 13 maxed hogu. That's what i said in the tips. But no, the only one you should get if you cant afford all 4 is Spirit Building. Never on the other 3.

No I mean that Assaulters should get Spirit Building first, followed by Crest, Seal and finally Wing Step. Supporters would do Crest first, then Building, Wing Step, Seal. I upgraded a level 0 tier 12 hogu to level 1 which cost 7 talismans. It added an extra 90 essence which is an extra 20 over what 7 talismans would give. I'll have to take a screenshot when I get another tier 12 from Visored Revenge. I should also clarify that I'm talking about getting the basic 5500 essence upgrade of all four hogu first.

You mean Spirit Building? That's one of my tips already.

Breakdown of Hogu talisman and hogu separately vs. upgrade hogu then break down, give the same amount of essence.

Here's some more tips. I'd suggest getting Spirit Crest before Spirit Seal for assaulters since the basic 140000 stamina is a better boost than upgrading Spirit Seal. Do not break down your hogu enhance talismans either since you get more essences from an upgraded hogu than you do from the talismans.
