Is he worth 1888 gold? Absolutely.

He is unquestionably the best value you can get from gold in the history of this game. It isn't even close. You get the partner, a bunch of VIP benefits basically, and free daily and weekly rewards.

You get 150 mod fragments with him, and you get 15 mod fragments per day. You basically are getting a 2 star modded Tenjiro for 1888 gold. :-P

Tenjiro and the stuff he comes with are a first-activation bonus (like Rangiku for first top up).

The other stuff is a monthly thing.

I think he's still open to changes and fixes. Very soon after he was "announced" they changed some of his mods I think so there's still hope.

Now if only they change Nimaiya to an assaulter...

just get him for that price now. if u have gold sitting on u ie.  and if 2k gold aint that much for u. his mods can be done later after checking how things go by. ie only if u want a supporter and if 2k is something u would spend on say anniv event or something.

Yea I already got him, was only a little bit concerned that his evo gave phys atk instead of strategy. I didn't wanna go ahead and start evo him and then they change it and I have to start over lol I'd be pissed. BUt otherwise every about him is just amazing.

He does seem to be permanent. The time limit is for the status of "Agent of Shinigami" which gives out various daily, weekly and top-up rewards, as well as some bonus vip-like features.

That's not the only possible bug.
When you receive your free golden reishi they go into your inventory instead of tavern and you can't use them at all

You know I was thinking, he's like almost the perfect supporter if u run a 1-3-1 with senbon. Like with so many speed mods on him and a 10% natural speed mod + his skill gives 20% to supports(himsef) need not to worry about him being too slow!
