Oetsu is faster, His skill has better growth rate, his skill basically kills 1 enemy no matter how much HP they have and he has AoE fury deduction, while shinso has the lowest stun rate among all the stun partners and he is slower than Oetsu and his damage isn't better than Oetsu
you can get shinso For 500 comrade contract or 20k for rent partners event which is the best if you are a high level player
Oetsu's price now is 6k which is very cheap for his quality of a partner
Oetsu > Shinso by a million mile

Only reason theres a competition here is due to Shinso giving fury to whole team, attacking everyone and causing CC at the same time, which is great overall

And since this thread has no specifics to what is best for what
I really wanna say Shinso Gin but I think that'd be a bit biased due to favourites and all

I'd honestly say they are both good in what they do and are perfect for it, but in terms of an overall fitting into any team and things like that, ya know, just an overall aspect, i'd defo say Shinso
other than that Nimaiya wins every way lol

shinso is amazing, and I love him. decent damage, decent speed. I know his speed might not be as good as the new RED partners. But he benefits the team a lot especially he skills every round and recover fury for the entire team.

Depends what you run and VIP level. If you spend a lot and you can afford multiple raw T1s then there is no need for you to get shinso. If you are like me and you like having whole team on T1 then shinso is great for that purpose. If you don't relay on fury, again, it goes to Oetsu. Also stun can be a savior in hollow maps, so that is another bonus for Shinso. Also the pricing, Shinso is still expensive as fuck, (In all honesty I love him and he is great but he is not worth that much), but with the option to get him free( 4 cc a day would mean you "only" need to save 125 days, plus you won't be able to get max points on daily task for free all time so that prob make it 150 days to get him "free").

T1 Kieske, to T1 Shinso, T1s the whole team with 12 basic fury stones. + both fury builders in back make them less susceptible to fury draining attacks, + if you build him right, Shinso can stun close to 50%. Good accessories, enchantments, evo, and i'm sure I'm missing something that can up the chances
of course Nimea is OP, but people are forgetting that building a syntergystic team > loads of OP partners in general. True, if you throw enough money at the game, it only takes minimal skill and effort to win. but even still, I've seen F2Ps beat VIP8s.

Fury gain isn't enough to save Shinso, I'm sorry it just isn't. He's become outclassed, completely and utterly by the new partners. Oetsu is the better partner.

Shinso replaces kisuke though. If you can't afford More than 1 T1 partner, then wouldn't shinso be better since he makes T1 your whole team and is way better than kisuke.

Doesn't make sense having oetsu and only him T1, I think that wouldn't be enough. Unless there were at least one other T1 partner then I'd say oetsu.

Literally his only saving grace is his fury. I would wait, because at the expensive price he's at right now he isn't worth it JUST for a bit of fury. Wait and see if a fury gen-ing red partner comes out any time soon.

Yeah I know.  ONly his fury saves him.  That's why I didn't get oetsu, as good as he ever was.  Still thinking it was a bad mistake I didn't get him, as many said he's very cheap and good partner.

But since I can't afford a true T1, barely managing to struggle making 1 partner true t1, I decided to wait for the right time to get shinso, only because he will give fury to my team and make them skill.  Beside's that, he's crap.

Yeah, I hope another fury giver appears, because I have like literally no luck in getting those comrade contracts at all.  Never gotten a single one, and I've tried to get them, of course, without spending much coupons that is.

Shinso can be used both PvE and PvP. Even if stun rate is low himself, with proper accessories, you can increase the stun rate. +Fury to whole team takes less effort to get whole team T1.

Otesu is solely good with PvP.

If I dont have neither, I will prefer Shinso Gin over Otesu.

I guess I simply disagree since I own shinso and don't use him for PvE. Hiki + Kenp Uno works better. It's really situational I guess

Thats why I said "And by free I mean you dont need to use a single dollar, euro or pound to get it." so yes, it will take too much time to be worth but its free.

Well csb w.ichigo literally is free, because you cant get it by doing anything aside from csb itself, the other thing is whether you use cash to boost up your team, but at that point you could just buy him.

I use both but strictly Shinso Gin for PVE and Oetsu for PVP. It doesn't matter if Shinso Gin fury regens when you kill them all or get killed first round. Of course, you could use both in PVP, but I don't have the stones to support two fast supporters just yet, and I would probably pair him with Tenjiro or Hikifune, anyway. I would use someone other than Oetsu in PVE. Plenty of great choices that will do massive damage.

Oetsu is absolutely sick and to some degree future proof due to his 10% to all ally halo.

Shinso's only strong point is giving fury, but that won't help if he dies to a enemy T1 Oetsu in one hit... just like most of the team.

Shinso needs 50k coupons, I think 100/day can be obtained if you're in a really good spot that's 500 days.

Assuming you get a lot from Reio and also manage to get contracts via daily (without using coupons... good luck...) regulary, you'd still look for AT LEAST one year and he wouldnt have mods/evo by then, which would mean he'd most likely get outperformed by almost everything.

By that time, they'll also have added more partners to the tavern with such growth rates I guess...

Around 90m. I've tried replacing Shinso with both of them and lose around 10m when I do so regardless of who I switch out.

I guess it's depending on what kind of partners you got. I am hitting 160-190mil with shinso, dropped 15-20mil if I switch with hikifune.

Both have different use, Oetsu is faster... but not stronger. In terms of PvE, Shinso is far better than Oetsu. Like I said, none of these Zero Div is good for PvE. Shinso, is better if you were to get between them.

Yes but the post isnt about who is better on PVE .
And you can always use urahara in pve so its still better to have oetsu.

Urahara wont be good enough for PvE. Shinso is better overall, better damage, better stam, better speed, he can use for PvE and PvP. Hence, he is better than Oetsu.

No he isnt and the dmg of shinso isnt that much .
No wisdom talent and not enough dmg rate.
He is fury booster just faster than urahara and little
Stronger but he is support with 120% attack i know
for you its hard to level characters thats why you want
to play with gin cuz you use him for both pvp and pve.
Oetsu is only pvp but still better to have him.

For me it's not hard, for the op it is. Hence Shinso is better. Oetsu is pure PvP, useless to him.

I tested it again today. Over the course of the event I lost an average of 9m damage per hit using Shinso over Hiki.
