Sark for heavy vanguard focusing players possibly with hyorinmaru (If you don't focus van with hyorin you are wrong)
Hollow ichi for those that want tanky vang with lower attack. (most players which don't focus van) Also if you have zangetsu the fortify bonus might be useful too for hollow ichi.
Yet we have about 20 threads about it, but what ever.

I picked starrk because i wanted a offensive van for pvp and i plan on topin up in future for a van zan and i am collecting coupon's for swp kenny aswell for pve boast and i dont need hollow ichigo since im going for kenny relly.

Now how is hollow ichigo lower attack when clearly hollow ichigo skill is 220% I think and stark is only 120%

Attack all 120% is higher than single lane attack at 220%.

If you want to use vanguard for ryoka you would prob want kenpatchi, if not then its not best choice to use vanguard at all. But yeah, Ichigo would perform better in events, but only in events, at least atttack wise.

1-3-1... go with Hollow Ichi, you already have your assaulter stones split between 3 people, you would probably have to cannibalize them for Starrk, making a god vang, yet a squishy middle row... if you have plenty of stones, forget this. but you will for sure what to have Starrk with the best of your best of everything if you want him to be #godstarrk. and if you aren't willing to do that, Hollow Ichi is probably your better choice

I had both at one point and between the both of them I found Hollowed Ichigo better for my team(which is a 1-2-2) and I really didn't have the stones or zan to fully utilize Starrk. it really depends on what your aiming for in your formation

Picking the right VG depends heavily on your build...

Personally, I think Starrk is overrated a lot, since for him to become useful, you need to have a VG based zanpakuto and at least decent gear (120% atk and at best +-0% dmg modifier), and he has no huge survivability of his own.

Hollowed Ichigo has decent mods, and especially his last mod (12% Avoid Injury) is very handy for F2P Players, as you can mix sets and give him a lot of avoid injury, in combination with his health gain on skill and aid rate to assaults, he makes the team noticable more durable. But that Aid rate can backfire... against "attack all" enemies.

If you have the VIP level for him, SWP Kenji is the (imo only) way to go.

IMO for F2P players, Saijin is worth keeping around for longer, since evo+mod+talent make him fairly durable, even tough his stats/growth aren't impressive.

To put it short:
If you're F2P/too low for SWP Kenny VIP and get Senbonsakura from UBP, Starrk might be your ideal choice.
Same with Hyorin, then IMO you might be better off with Hollowed Ichigo.

Outside of that, I think Sajin would do just about as well...

With him i can almost kill my one rival who is a no 11 in arena and runs 1-1-3 while im no10 with 2 skills from starrk less if my starrk blocks after 1st skill and i hv beaten ppl with starrk/horin bf by strengh or outhealing them and im a vip 0 atm lol.

Hey,

Im running with a Starrk and senbon, I heavily stack Starrk but he sure is strong. Most fights he just solos the entire team. If he cant kill them, they die due to block dmg. Seems to me only higher vips can defeat me atm.

If you can combine Starrk with strong stones and a good zanp (senbon/hyorin) id say go for it.
Otherwise its much easier and cheaper to go for h.ichigo.

Im a level 106 free player and i use Stark <3
With a little extra effort you can make him very good mine has 80+K defense and 110+k attack

and i use Kazeshini
I know he isn't all that yet but in a few months he will xD

Nice was debating on getting him but didn't like his look. Couldn't be messed with upgrading my Sajin or booking him for levels since I'm 1 level away from Ichigo. Never got around to switching out Dodge for Hit rate from when I used Yachiru either but ya lol.

i love him he has saved my a$$ soo many times i lost count

u half to put alot of work into him but is is relly worth it 4 pvp/h souls he is reason i beat tosen/i'm on gin's 2nd minion.

492k bp now and 188k attack with reiasu but he gts stronger by 12 percent bc of cute and in 6 days he gets his final mod of 10% str lol.

im lv 114 and replaceing yourich with cute depends on ur team/what u want/plan on doing in future if u going t1 route cute could def help with that while also gvn attack/more block to van mkn him bit stronger/tougher

Making cute orihime a t1 would be great but i dont think a free player can do that hehe
Unless their lucky with events i have 3 level 3 initial fury stones but that won't work

i have 55 basic furystones atm (lvl 93 and total f2p) yes i have used my 1 year login so just 9k cupoons left atm (saving for another visored

)

More like Attack Vanguard or more Defensive Vanguard really. Either is a good pick it's just what they want to pick and build around really. Also helps if they have certain zanpakutos and spirit stone levels. Hollowed Ichigo is geared more towards F2P just because he is very easy to build up compared to Stark.
