Host Mod Soul - Gold reset = 100%

I've been told by someone who did it that host mod soul resets 100% of pills if you use gold, not 80% like it says.  Can anyone else confirm?

I know I reset it for silver before and believe I got 80% back.

Silver resets are painful if its only 60%.  Dang.  But it sounds like you're on track now.

Yeah it sucks, but not sorry and am glad that i'm finnaly clear with that and direction that i should move with mod souls. I worked on a lot of stuff in past 2 days XD. Shura should be icying on the cake, and i'm going back to pve for some time

I'm only dissapointed that as i guy that was already here when mod souls came out, and also a person from couple of  first eu servers that i still won'te be seing gintoki for some time

As I pointed out already, going for holmes is about the worst decision you can make.  Any other decision is exponentially better depending if you're new or if you're 1-2 years in.  Holmes doesn't pay off till at LEAST 5 years into the game and that could actually be 6+ years, depending on just how slow he levels in the 120 range.

lvl 81 sakuragai, calendula 32, carribean 30 (started with) ; lvl 69 batman and 40 spidey ended with

Decided to switch paths from iron man to gintoki. At first i wanted to try to experiment with carribean but accidentaly reseted sakuragai and said meh, all in. Reseted all of the previously mentioned mentioned mod souls, and then opened batman and goku (went from lvl 30 carribean to lvl 40 spiderman, i didn't touch druid lvl 40, the requ. for batman is lvl 30 druid and lvl 40 spidey). So suma sumarem, i didn't use gold but i previously mentioned how much it would have took. I wish i have put it all on paper but unfortunately i didn't, and currently not home to do some math, so feel free to jump in. So after reseting those 3 i was left with lvl 40 spidey and lvl 69 batman. Like i said didn't do math, but since it takes from 70 to 80 more, and espacially from 80 to 90 a lot lot more (took me maybe even a couple of weeks to get from 79 to 81 on sakuragai, and we all know lower lvls are easy; first 10 a joke, later on 2 lvls a day, around 30ish and 40 ish, lvl a day, ...)

Not sorry that i did it but it kind of stinks. When i started to do this i was noobier then now and choose this path to accomodate my main, figured he'd get some neato kido attack form sakuragai and then off to holmes. Then deicded to get iron man (stoped on 81 sakuragai, also note just a day from 81 to 82, and started lvling calendula). Then saw his stats and decided i could use gin better (kido def.). I'm still ok with batman bcs of that phys. attack and kido def. that my starrk get's (starrk + hyorin combo) but overall wasted a lot of days and effort. My silver also went down from 150k to 113k, so it's not even cheap with silver.

Conclusion not sure how much % did i get back, but like i said since 70 to 80, and especially from 80 it get's brutal, from just looking and assuming kind of I think i got 60% back and not 80%. So be carefull unless you got gold to spare

Wow, I have no idea what to do now >< I was going for sakuragi level 90 and then keeping it until I got batman level 90 (then going for holmes). But now I think going for either hollowed arrancar or kenpachi first would have been better, idk >< Well, I've done what I've done. I'm doing well in pvp and pve with my current level 51 sakuragi (only been playing 4-5 months), fortunately there are other ways to do well in pve/pvp (mod soul aside). So I'll probably stick with it, would rather not spend the next 4-5 months static, trying to get hollow arran or kenpachi and delay holmes even longer.

Just curious, how much gold did it take to reset a lv90 ken?

My sakuragai was lvl 81 when i used the reset. Didn't use gold but i tried just to see how much would it be. it said 700 smth. I think it was 753  to be exact but not sure.

Then when i shifted the whole path from iron man to gintoki the lower ones like carribean (lvl 30) it asked for less then 100 gold, i think it was in 50 smthing, but it really doesn't matter since it's that low.

So the whole thing would probably take around 1k gold just to be safe and all, like dante wrote earlier, but shadarlo is on point with that 800ish for 90 ken.

Everything in this game you can say "that doesn't matter because  there are other ways to get BP".

But the point is, you have to do the best you can at every single thing.  No reason to gimp yourself in one area if you don't have to.

Going for Holmes simply is a poor choice until 5-6 years out.  For the first 12 months going for Gin is a poor choice.  After 1 year, Gin is the best choice until at MINIMUM 5 years out, he's better than holmes by a large margin until that point or even a bit after.

Patience is not a virtue in this game.  Patience is generally you falling further and further behind and once you do that, you can't catch up unless you dramatically outspend.
