Beware using the current event to get things.  You will probably end up spending a little to a lot more depending how you do the Witch House.  The only way to get Katen for 40k is to direct buy the spots for the 9 points.  

If you do the Soothsaying part, you may get signs you do not need, but you get the points to exchange there also.  Try not to redeem the sets for 3 points if they use a sign from the 9 point group since the return on gold to points is not as good at 300 gold for 3 points to 600 gold for 9 points.

Here's how you do it. It's very simple. it takes 600 points to get katen. This means approximately 67 of the 9 point ones. So you do oneclick soothsay until you have 67 of one of the signs from the 9 point things. Then you direct purchase the rest of the signs up to 67 as well. Voila. Cheapest you'll get Katen for

I got Katen last night since I won the the 100% rebate.  So I ended up getting Katen, Nemu, Hiki and BRenji from last topup and the rebates.  I got a lot of Hollow souls from the Soothsaying.  I just wanted to warn him if he only has 40k, that you will end up spending more than that to actually get Katen.

Second of all, Katen can cost as little as 37k with good luck
