not sure if i have an issue or not.

slightly confused

recently recruited Yachiru, i try and do the cultivating dojo fights and i get the message cannot challenge,

as I've already one clicked cultivate 5 of my partners and bought one extra challenge but still cannot start to battle in the dojo for Yachiru

is there something I'm doing wrong ?

Yes, you also need to purchase additional CHANCES , aside from resetting it for your partner, so you have to spend double the coupons/gold.

Assuming you mean the requirements to upgrade to those levels from the prior level.
