Unfortunately as benjiji said most games are like these in this day and age with micro transaction...
BUUUT! you have to remember that this game isn't being sponsored by any big companies like COD and WoW etc. are! they need to get there funding from either the aired bleach episodes (I'd assume almost dwindled) or from Japanese sponsors which let's be honest here... to run a US a EU a CH and I think a few other entire servers (even on a game with such low graphics) with 60-150+ per day 24/7 and ontop of that 20+ servers per zone! it's not exactly a cheap thing :P [email protected] replied at 2014-8-27 10:25 static/image/common/back.gif
