Like any game top ups gonna win but this game is a little more oriented then others mostly because of weekly events only being top up and the aliance shop. Personaly i only spend as much on a f2p game as i would on a consol game so im vip 4 and i love benifets of it and is till have fun but there will always be those who will pay more then you, im lucky that vip 4 is enough for me to be 2nd on my server lol

It is if you're aiming to be the top on a server, PvP it is a huge bonus if you have higher spirit stones. Apart from that I feel you can still enjoy the game just as f2p player, just don't expect to be #1 on the server.

In my server the 4th rank player in VIP 4. He is doing better then some VIP 6 players in my server.

Well put. I looked at the things you get free just within 3-4 days I have like 2k skill scrolls and all sorts of other goodies its p2w but at least they give everyone the ability to play and tbh you can still do everything this game offers.. will just take 3-4x longer maybe shorter if your a smart and wise player who can spend your coupons well we have 2 VIP 0's * so they say * who are top 5 in our server atm. I can't beat them and I am vip 6.

its easy to check if they are vip or not. First see if they have rangi, second during events look at how fast they attack on evil, if its as fast as you then they have skip so atleast vip4 honestly best way to tell is to look at there achievements. It tells you if they have the 1k gold which would be vip 3 or 4 and then the vip6 icon and then the vip10 icon so you can't really lie about being vip or not lol.
it is possibe for them to beat you if you messed up in spending your gold and they got the rewards from being in the best guild for the cool events and etc. I myself on UN beat 3 of the vip 6s on my server and in EM beat ppl with 50-60k more bp than me with 10 more lvls as a vip4 cause i didn't make any mistakes and played smart.

they are most likely lying and a lot of them were buffed by the starting events, I know, and I spent most of my money on later items like cyclone pieces.. and barlog so they only beat me because they get to the level first like now 2-3 of them are 67-70 and I am only 64 so they have kazeshini and gold partners, so they win of course but it all comes down to how smart you spend your gold your right, this game can be a money raping machine of death very easily if you spend 400-1000 coupons / gold wrong

its really each to check how much they have topped up so they can't lie or you can catch their lie if they are. go to their achievements, and look at the 3rd tab (the star icon and the 3rd achievements tells you how much gold they have topped up if under 1k and if over if they are vip6 more ;)
You probably mislead the readers with your thread title and optional poll.
How we interpret it: OP is mad that this game eats his money, and wanted to see everyone's elses opinion if this game is a huge money sink.
If you are trying to say that you had a lot of gold on your account, and that it went missing without you purchasing anything, or without someone else using your account, then you did not explain yourself well.
I don't have a problem buying gold, it helps to keep the game going, and these guys deserve to get paid. What i dislike is the guys in game that hate on gold buyers. There is one on us49 named ryu and he attacks anyone he deems is gold buying. It's almost not worth playing when there are people out there doing this. I work, take care of my kids, and should not have to be insulted for trying to have a good time. I've literally spent the past month as a slave to this guys guild mate because i can afford to buy gold. If something isn't done about people like this then these games are doomed. Again his name is RYU us49 he is in hellsquad. If there are any other goldies out there that can help to remove him or at least make his life miserable i would greatly appreciate it.
