You can buy unlimited chances, but your free ones allow you to send the sleigh for free. You get 2 free per day. Aside from the gold you spend on One-Click Red, there is no additional costs.
So for 2000 gold a day ( it costs 1000 to get to red instantly ), and your 2 free chances, you would get 5000 x-mas gifts per day + Gifts for the gold you spent = 7,000 gifts per day.
You would spend a GRAND TOTAL of 10,000 gold to get to 35,000 Xmas points.

I like helping people out. I have been fooling around with the X-mas events on other servers for about 3 hours now :-P.
I am not assuming it is easy for people. I just want people to know how insane it is. The ability to get 40k gold partners for a 8k top up is a pretty big deal.
Or 1750 mod fragments for 10,000 gold. That is 5.7 gold PER MOD FRAGMENT. That is about 1/4th the normal cost. :-P

You are missing the 1 gold spent = 1 point. That also counts.
That is with Instant completion as well. It LOOKS like the event itself is SERVER based and not grouped servers.
