well if anything it will cost you 1k gold for instant red sleigh, which gives a level 9 ss, and 1k points. so we can hope that the red sleigh at least gives 1k points.

nono you get 20k points in the cmas shop, it has hogus and partners + mod frags ;p
im not sure, its 20 points per mod frag in the shop.

Well....
Depends on what you want.
I would advise you to top up 8k per day though. This allows you to get the top up rewards each day ( the final top up reward has a chance to give you 200 red hogyu fragments each day ). You also would end up with about 10,000 Ulquiorra pet fragments, enough to make 5 level 150's.
